Most interested to see what the zeppelin and island sets look like.

By in United States,

I'm surprised that Cole's dragon is so small. I was expexting it to be a lot larger like it is in the show. I'll most likely be picking up all of these.

By in Canada,

Djinn blades, huh? Sounds exciting! The pirate names are pretty cool, and the sets themselves sound very diverse and creative.

By in United Kingdom,

Sqiffy? Really? Are they slightly drunk the whole time?

The Lego designer might be a fan of Happy Days. Pirate "Bucko"? LOL!

@Toc13 Yes. ;-)

@LegoDude80010 I don't think this is the same dragon of Cole's, in the same way that the Tournament of Elements' dragons weren't the original ones either. Also, fairly sure that the four original are still combined as the Ultra Dragon.

My interest is piqued by the zeppelin, as well.

This sounds so awesome!

By in Germany,

Am I crazy for buying on of these solely because the set number matches my postcode?! I think that is cool. (It's totally easy to make me happy. You probably guessed that...)

By in Romania,

The only problem that I'm seeing is that the famous game, League of Legends, has a character named Miss Fortune. But other than that, I'm quite excited for the new series! :D

By in United States,

Well, this is a first- pirates and ninja together in sets. I can't recall any other themes crossing over like this, especially not historical (used loosely in this case) themes.

They had me at "Sky Pirate". I'm neutral on the whole pirate/ninja thing, but Sky Pirates are awesome.

I think my biggest question is how this and the TV show will fit- the preview gave no indication of pirates.

Also, Zeppelins. I can't recall the last time we had one. Might have been Adventurers.

By in United States,

Have to say that the Ninjago theme has been consistently enjoyable the past few years - even the rushed rebooted sets had some good points, and last years cultist wave was brilliant although I do wish we'd got more Elemental masters. As a show, its also really enjoyable. Probably my favorite overall theme in spite of my love of super heroes.

I am really interested in the following set: LEGO Ninjago Raid Zeppelin (70603) $39.99.

By in United States,

Sky pirates?
Zeppelins?
Pirate Airship HQ?

I hope I can get my kids excited enough for these that my wife lets me buy them ;)

By in Greece,

I am an all time pirate and castle fan. And i was considering getting into ninjas for a couple of years now. The timing couldn't be better with ninjago vs pirates, especially now that nexo nocastle is going to grab a large piece of 2016. My wallet somehow feels bigger!

Bring out the pictures now guys :)

By in Netherlands,

Awesome! It's exciting to read those descriptions. An even better teaser than plain pictures, I must say. Yes, with pictures you know what it will look like. However, with months to wait, guessing is way more fun!

Sounds fascinating. Is Cole still a ghost?

^ I will as soon as I can!

By in Australia,

So ninjas and pirates, then? Sweet. It's been a good day for Lego news.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Let me guess.... pirates? Really? Didn't we see the end of them in the Snakes section? You know, when they had the Constictai, Fangpyre, Hypnobrai, and Venomari?

Also, I liked to state that LEGO can do better. What if the skeletons rose up, with Garmadon returning? Remember when he was sucked into that portal thing to stop Master Chen and the Anacondrai? What if he came back as Lord Garmadon, and captured Wu? And what if they left the team up to Lloyd, to lead Kai, Cole, Zane, Jay, Nya, and Dareth (yes, you heard me)? That would be cool. Who else agrees?

By in United States,

At last, we settle the age old rivalry in official LEGO form. I can't wait.

Real Ultimate Power!

Wait, something just hit me. Wasn't Ninjago supposed to be retired a few years back? I'm almost positive TLC planned to end the series, but I just remembered that, and it's still going strong...

Gravatar
By in United States,

I thought LEGO Ninjago would be done after Nindroids; they've been very successful. I don't remember LEGO saying they would shut down. If anything, I'd think it would be Star Wars; I mean really, they are just duplicating sets. Even though they keep adding for the movies...

Gravatar
By in United States,

@brickman3 At the end of season five (ghosts) the cursed realm is destroyed and Garmadon has no way back to ninjago. So as cool as that would be, that sadly won't happen.

By in Canada,

@kipper147: Ninjago was originally planned for just two or three years, and the 2013 wave was supposed to be its final wave. However, even before the 2013 sets came out, there was a tremendous fan outcry — apparently LEGO Customer Service was flooded with calls begging for LEGO to continue the theme. And since the theme's sales were still surprisingly strong for a theme that was nearing its planned end of life, LEGO confirmed in December 2012 that Ninjago would be continuing through 2013 and beyond.

In 2014 they launched a new season of the TV show and a new series of sets titled "Ninjago: Rebooted", and since then it's been going strong. A LEGO Ninjago movie will be coming to theaters in September 2017. As of this year they're even considering Ninjago an "evergreen theme" like LEGO City, so it's not going away in the foreseeable future.

Am I the only one who thinks... This theme has been done to death? :/ I was like what?! omg please no not again... when i heard this
