The US LEGO Shop@Home website has listed a number of City, Creator, Disney Princess and Technic sets and states that will be available on the 1st of December. Unfortunately most are currently without images, but they will probably be added shortly.

Sets are often released prior to Christmas in some stores although availability is patchy. However, this is the first time I can recall that the City, Creator, Disney Princess and Technic ranges will be officially released on the 1st of December, in plenty of time for Christmas. You can view a full list of the sets with their respective prices after the break.

Meanwhile, in the UK we have learnt from a reliable source that LEGO stores are intending to put City, Star Wars, Friends, Technic and Disney Princess sets out on the 26th of December while Duplo, Juniors, Nexo Knights, Ninjago, BIONICLE and others will be kept for the 1st of January. It is unknown whether or not a release in the US would alter their plans, although it seems likely.

Thanks to LegoPegasister2015 for initially pointing this out on the forum.

That's kinda odd.

By in United States,

Those Frozen sets are going to fly off the shelves if this happens.

By in United States,

We are due for a Creator Expert train set soon, but I don't see one on the list. Hopefully something is coming is 2016!

By in United Kingdom,

They're quite late this year in the unveiling of next year's images.

By in United Kingdom,

If the Sleigh Adventure gets released early in the UK, it'll be a Christmas present. Otherwise it'll be a birthday present.
Anything else can wait

By in United States,

Last year I did see a few BIONICLE 2015 sets in December (which I immediately got). Here's hoping they do the same thing again this year with the 2016 sets!

By in United States,

Maybe this is to mitigate the predicted shortages of existing sets?

By in Finland,

I actually bought Elsa's Ice Palace last December from a local toystore, even though the official release was in January. Good to know I can look for more Frozen sets this December as well. ;)

By in United Kingdom,

The only things that make the sleigh worth getting are Kristoff and the reindeer, but I don't really like either which kind of sucks. I normally love getting all the princess sets for my daughter. The Elves sleigh is a thousand times better and I believe that's just $30 on Amazon right now.

By in Canada,

Is the modular bank to be released as well

By in United States,

My son is super excited for NexoKnights . . . I hope they too make an appearance before Christmas!

By in United States,

Hoping for the sets to be available at least by the 26th so I can make some post Christmas purchases...

By in Puerto Rico,

Thankfully none of those interest me.

A small wave of next year sets have been released in North America on Dec 1st for some years now.

By in Netherlands,

I don't see the city ferry on the list. Pity. :(

By in United States,

Cool, unfortunately nothing to my liking so far that I've seen.

By in United States,

Can't wait to see hi-res images of these!

By in United States,

Desperately need Fortrex before Christmas.

By in United States,

My daughter will need those Frozen sets. She has a Frozen theme for Christmas this year. I was able to find last year's set prior to Christmas, so that was a nice surprise. I guess I am going to have to keep an eagle eye out for the Frozen sets this year.

By in United States,

Toys-R-Us always has the next year's stuff early.

By in United States,

I can not wait! I need Sven for my layout for our show which is in 10 days from the release date :)

I'd have preferred a less cartoonish reindeer, but given it's taken from an animated movie I'm pleased enough with it--and the rest of the set looks very nice, though rather overpriced. Also curious about Park Animals, given how successful the other recent Creator animal sets have been. And what on earth is a "Tire Escape?"

^Set on Lego.com:

•Includes 2 minifigures: a crook and a police officer.
•Features a police water scooter, tire and a paddle.
•Get on the police water scooter and keep the LEGO City waters safe.
•Also includes handcuffs.
•Police water scooter measures over 1” (5cm) high, 3” (9cm) long and 1” (3cm) wide.
•Tire measures over 1” (3cm) long, 1” (3cm) deep and under 1” (1cm) high."

47 pieces, $6.99.

Actually this isn't the first time that these sets were released this early here. In fact, just last year, a quick search with the Wayback Machine on "What's New" [and the set database] shows the exact same thing. Sets 31027-33, 42032-34, and 60082-85 (plus the Excavator) were all listed on December 2nd.

To me, this was predictable.

By in United Kingdom,

^ True, although this is the first time that they have been officially released in advance of the 26th of December and their release has been publicly announced beforehand.

Ah dammit, Ive promised to steer clear of all 2016 Star Wars stuff until I go see mates in London for New Year (there will be a post festivities hungover toy shop trip). Thats going to be a long week, especially since I live 10 minutes walk from the Lego store

By in United Kingdom,

I so wanted a reindeer until I saw its eyes. They're in the wrong place! Granted it might be faithful to some animation I've never heard of but it's of no use in my MOCs now. Opportunity wasted there LEGO.

By in United States,

Pictures starting to show up on LEGO Shop

Gravatar
By in United States,

When I clicked on one of the sets (Ambulance Plane) the image showed up on the actual page! I'm not sure if this works with the other sets yet...

Gravatar
By in Switzerland,

Most of the pictures have been added in the meantime.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Don't forget the Lego Ideas Doctor Who set!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Offroad Racer and the Garbage truck look cool!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I expect these will be on Amazon UK before Christmas, and if so I'll pick up Park Animals, Fast Car, Getaway Racer, and Police Interceptor (for people to give to me). :)
