By in Australia,

Some interesting sounding names there! And a new petrol station! It's been a long time since the last one! Shame those Friends amusement park sets aren't in Creator or City themed though...

Gravatar
By in United States,

so Volcano sounds basically like Arctic with different colors

Gravatar
By in Austria,

That sounds like my wallet will be angry. A friends rollercoaster? Hopefully built with the 4-wide tracks! :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

I will take Amusement park sets in any theme LEGO wants to give me besides Duplo. Vulcan bases are interesting, so we get a NEXO base and a City research base. Should be fun next month when we see them.

I also love the fact the name of NinjaGo sets mean nothing until we know the bad guys as they are all pretty much the same thing.

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

Volcano sets, Ghost Rider, Cap Rex AT-TE (not going to buy that but it sounds cool)? I will be getting that Ghost Rider set and a few of the Volcano City ones depending on pictures, plus two of the Cap America CW (only need Black Panther and Falcon).

Gravatar
By in United States,

I assume Captain Rex's walker is the one from Rebels...awesome. Looking forward to what they do with the volcano themed city sets, and the Friends amusement park sets sound intriguing, especially a roller coaster!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Hmmmm, Volcano sets sound very interesting as does the Vader Tie advanced (It's been some time since we saw one) and Anakin's Podracer. We'll have to wait and see how they turn out.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I love the sound of the AT-TE Walker. From the name my guess is it will be a Rebels set based on the walker Rex, Wolffe and Gregor live on.

Gravatar
By in United States,

ANOTHER podracer set? Come on LEGO there are TONS of other sets you can re-cycle and even more you haven't touched.

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

Amusement park sets! Nice!

I also didn't know there was a Junior/Friends theme... :)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I'm really looking forward to the next wave of DC Sets now with these being added to the Gotham Cycle Chase and the 60s Batcave.

So glad there will finally be a new Killer Croc so I can finally end my hunt for a decent priced 'Hunt for Killer Croc'. Got to imagine it will be a bigfig too to match up with the latest LEGO Batman Game.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm ALL over the Amusement Park sets! Totally makes sense for the Friends theme to head there. I'm still waiting on a LEGO zoo (not duplo) maybe that's 2017?

Also excited to see Ghost Rider, as he seemed like a no brainer for years now.

Volcano Research Base? Interesting to say the least. I'm looking forward to seeing it! With Police and Fire outta the way early this year, I was fearing a rehash Coast Guard (again)

The sheer number of Ninjago sets this year continues to amaze me...early sets look great though, so I doubt these won't.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Captain Rex's AT-TE Walker!!! Yeeesssss!
This is what my Xmas money is going on. Brilliant!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

If these are true, the TIE and the Turbo Tank for me but do we really need another iteration of the AT-TE?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The Amusement Park stuff sounds great - just got to hope that it will be compatible with minifig scale aswell as the minidolls. "Holiday Destinations" sounds intriguing for Creator, as does the Friends/Juniors combo. The only slight gripe I have is that again exploration/adventure themed sets are being put under the City theme - surely things like the Volcano and Arctic would be better under an exploration theme? To me City is town and urban stuff.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Is it too soon for any of the Star Wars sets to be microfighters? Do we have the full line up for series 3? (6 sets) series 1 had 9, and series 2 had 8 sets.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

@scifiguy2011
> ANOTHER podracer set? Come on LEGO there are TONS of other sets you can re-cycle and even more you haven't touched.

Yeah, isn't it time they did another Jedi Interceptor????? It's been weeks since the last one. And they haven't done one in trans-purple yet.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Belle’s Enchanted Castle ?
Okay, that one took me by surprise

Gravatar
By in United States,

@grimlock...if this AT-TE is the one from Rebels, then YES we need another one. They modified it to the point it more resembled Howls Moving Castle.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Safe to assume Wolffe and Gregor will come with Rex's AT-TE, and hopefully a few from Ezra/Kanan/Zeb/Sabine will be included too. Agent Kallus on a speeder would probably be asking too much.

Love the idea of a Ghost Rider set!

The two things that really stood out though were the Amusement Park stuff and the Volcano sets. Don't get your hopes super high for the roller coaster, but hopefully it'll be good. So nice to see something a little different like the Volcano stuff too. Even if it's a bust (which it probably won't be), it'll just be nice to see something different in the City section instead of the same looking stuff year after year after year.

Though it is interesting to see all the Friends showing up in Juniors now. Could that mean that the regular Friends sets (including that roller coaster) might become a bit more complex/sophisticated? They have to keep all the girls that they've gotten hooked on Friends, so they can't put out just simple and basic sets year after year.

Gravatar
By in United States,

My first Friends set might hafta be the rollercoaster. Sounds awesome. In the SW sets, why another podracer? I thought there have been updates to Anakin's already. (I do own the original.)

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm imagining a park between a volcano and (flammable) gas station when I see the city list.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Can't wait to see the Friends Amusement Park subtheme!

Gravatar
By in United States,

A clone turbo tank from Rebels! Finally, I can while away the days slinging for Joopa.

Gravatar
By in Norway,

Sounds like some fun sets, even if I have a feeling the Friends Amusement will be more on the scale of 41111-1: Party Train, than Creator.

Next knight volcano as well as City? Sly cross over or just reuse of parts?

Gravatar
By in Czechia,

Any rumors about the relase date of new UCS Star Wars sets?

Gravatar
By in France,

V-O-L-C-A-N-O ? Yummy !

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Wow! Just2good is super fast! I haven't even picked up any January sets yet!
That said I'm surprised to see that disney princess has a summer wave? The city volcano sets seem interesting and a CHANGE from the ordinary which is good to see. However I'm looking forward to seeing how those amusement park sets come out from Friends!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Darth Vader’s TIE Advanced (75150) I think this will be a micro set or just a small version, we've already had a UCS and larger Tie fighter, so why repeat it?

Volcano Starter Set (60120) !!! this could be amazing, put it in with some old jungle sets :)

Friends Theme park could be very nice to go with last years ferris wheel but I think it will end up being pink ergh

Airjitzu Temple Grounds (70590) This could be the best of the lot!!!!! I loved the Temple we may have some beautiful landscape to go with it a few bamboo huts etc could be awesome. Knowing our luck it will be a small gate, and a couple of figures. I shall keep my fingers crossed.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I'm always a fan of podracers! I wonder if it will be just Anakin's or if there'll be others. Last time around (2011) we just got Anakin's and Sebulba's. Even though I know those are the two most important ones, I'd love to have sets of more of them, like maybe new versions of Aldar Beedo's, Gasgano's, and Mawhonic's podracers, or even characters whose podracers haven't been released as sets before like Teemto Pagalies and Ben Quadinaros. The fact that I even remember those names should tell you what a big part of my childhood podracers were!

But obviously, of the themes listed here so far, I'm most excited for Ninjago and Nexo Knights. City and Friends also sound awesome!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Volcano-based sets sounds very promising - can't wait to see pics. I'm also down for most of the superhero sets (as usual).

Gravatar
By in Poland,

Looks promising. We have to wait and see.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

The fire starter sets were just the beginning. The volcano starter set is the next step. And an intriguing one at that. Because... how dò you start a volcano?

Nukes? xD

Gravatar
By in Norway,

Emma’s Ice Cream Truck, Gas Station, Fun at the Park, Holiday Destinations, Colt Laundry and Friends Amusement Park sets sounds promising! Looking forward to see pictures for sure!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Does the City volcano theme somehow coincide with Jestro's Volcano Base? Too, it won't be much Fun in the Park if the volcano erupts.

Aside, some tempting Ninjago sets that sound as though they'd compliment the Airjitsu Temple nicely.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Captain America: Civil War (76067)
-Fingers crossed a Spider-Man Minifigure is included.

Friends, Amusement Park
-Why couldn't this be an extension of the 'Creator, Fairground' sets, at least the rollercoster.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Hmmm it seems I'm the only one interested in Titanium Ninja Tumbler... hopefully it'll be a decent size.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

I hope that Axl’s Mobile Tower can combine with the Fortrex. But I'm most excited about the Volcano Research sets.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Turbo tank could be good. I never got the old ones. I don't watch Rebels, but I would like Captain Rex's AT-TE, if it's good.

Gravatar
By in United States,

For Technic, they have been known for some time and they are:
*42053 Volvo EW160E
*42054 Claas Xerion 5000 TRAC VC
*42055 Bucket Wheel Excavator

The Volvo is the smaller set around $50, the Claas the mid range set, and the Bucket Wheel Excavator being the flagship.

There is also some speculation of an "Ultimate IP car", but there is little knowledge of it being mentioned and it could be an exclusive or canceled per reports. The rumors for it have been a $300 UCS type of set, but again they are rumors and not solid facts.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Most of these are translated from a Dutch website, who put them online already. Some names are not accurate. But you'll all get the idea :-)

Gravatar
By in United States,

I think that Macy’s Thunder Club (70319) is actually called Macy's Thunder Mace, at least that is the name it has in the Merlok 2.0 app game. I is a little smaller than Lance' Mech Horse. It is tri-wheeled and has flip-up 6 barrel stud shooters on either side.

Here is an image from in game.
https://flic.kr/p/BUMS2L

Like a lot of others, I'm definetly looking forward to the Friend's Amusement Park sub-theme....and Bell's Enchanted Castle should be interesting; I wonder if it is the replacement for Cinderella's Castle (in size). I would certainly welcome a Lumier, Cogsworth, and Mrs. Potts molded pieces.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I am extremely interested to see these volcano-related sets.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

The Friends Rollercoaster is €99, the flagship Friends Set of the wave, so it's definitely not another Party Train "fiasco".

Also, Belle's castle is €59.99, which literally made me go "Ohhhh!"

Gravatar
By in United States,

@kknaut-

I'm mostly into Technic. Curious, w/o pics, what is a Volvo EW160E and Claas Xerion 5000 TRAC VC? As far as the flagship set, I imagine the Excavator simply means a wheeled, road excavator with a standard bucket or possibly a modified type bucket? If you can elaborate that would be great, or send me a message. I already picked up 3 of the 1st half Technic sets, the 42047 Police Interceptor, 42049 Mine Loader and 42050 Drag Racer. I'm mostly into race cars and construction vehicles, but as of the past few years I have been enthralled with the air vehicles such as the 42025 Cargo Plane and 9396 Helicopter (a very underrated set). Just my .02 worth but I think the 42052 Heavy Lift Helicopter looks a bit odd, and definitely looking at the parts/gearing inventory on Bricklink, not as sophisticated as the 9396 was.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I really hope the AT-TE is from Rebels!!!

The 2009 Vader Tie Fighter is very very nice but a new version is welcome.

Scarecrow (in a set that costs less than $150) and Killer Croc? Finally!

It is going to be an epic Lego summer!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well, I'm surprised by the Ghost Rider set, which I can't wait for

Gravatar
By in United States,

The Ninjago sets sound great, as do the DC Super Hero sets! Can't wait!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm still waiting for a TIE bomber. We've only ever gotten one. But at least we get all of these recycled sets. :/

Gravatar
By in United States,

City Gas Station? Friends Roller Coaster? Ghost Rider? Volcanoes? Another Lloyd Dragon? AXL IN A CHEAP SET?!

Sounds exciting! Can't wait for pictures and descriptions!

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I'm hoping that Darth Vader's Tie Advanced isn't a microfighter as I didn't get the 2009 set, although I've got a feeling it and the Captain Rex set might be.

I'm particularly interested by the Goblin Thrower, sounds like Nexo Knights will be getting lots of Goblin variants, ooh how I love goblins :)

Creator, the super hero and the City sets sound really great, I'm going to have to be careful with how I spend my money for the next 6 months.

Gravatar
By in Poland,

I'm super excited for new petrol station, it's been too long since last one. :)
Volcano theme also sounds interesting, I think it will be better than last years Space.

Gravatar
By in United States,

^^^ We have estimated prices for the Star Wars sets; 75150 is apparently $100; thus not a MicroFighter. I assume it will come with another build, too.

Gravatar
By in United States,

These LEGO Star Wars sets keep getting worse! What's up with LEGO!

Gravatar
By in United States,

@darkshadow79 : The Volvo is a wheeled excavator and the Claas is a dual wheeled lime green tractor with red rims. I am uncertain however of what the Lego sets will look like as I have no access to images. The Volvo is speculated to be on level of 2015's fire plane, the Claas on level with the tower crane, and the BWE on level with the Arocs.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Exciting! Darth Vader's TIE is apparently with an A wing too so presumably rebels.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Captain Rex's ATTE is very welcome - it will be my 3rd ATTE variant (because I didn't get the original 2002/3 one) and should go nicely to make a convoy with the others and the ATOT. It probably doesn't have the handy locking mechanism for the LAAT/Dropship though. I refused to get the uninteresting Rebels-based Imperial Cruiser so hopefully Sabine with her helmet or Kallus with hair are included in that as well as the old clones.

I've got a feeling that a new Anakin's Podracer (which to be fair has only had 2 builds, as of right now) might have a moulded piece or two for more convincing pit droids. Considering they remoulded Sebulba before this shouldn't be too much of a stretch. It would be disappointing if there weren't any other Boonta Eve sets to increase the Podracer roster though. I love them as much as Aanchir and would like to see much more, even possibly in the films again.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Killer Croc and Scarecrow in the same wave!?
I haven't been collecting DC sets, but I'm all over this!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Volcano sets? Woahhh. :O 2015 and 2016 are good years for City (Deep Sea + Volcano).

Gravatar
By in United States,

I would like to see pictures of the volcano city sets. Seems a bit odd we would all of a sudden have a volcano in this city! Must be what keeps the fire department busy.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

They had me at Ghost Rider.

Gravatar
By in United States,

75150 is Vader's TIE and a (presumable) blue A-Wing from Rebels. IMO, they only threw in the A-Wing because they have to keep him in larger sets. *rolls eyes*

Captain Rex's Moving Castle (er, AT-TE) sounds interesting, and it could have Ahsoka in it, but I hope the clones look good. In the show Rex looks like Santa Claus. *rolls eyes again*

Volcano stuff sounds interesting, but come on! Another stinking full-sized helicopter! This is just going to be Arctic again, I bet. Considering it's a VOLCANO, and will be undoubtedly terrifically popular, they're probably going to be more expensive than City Arctic.

Macy's Thunder Mace is incredibly ugly, and doesn't look like it has any fun functions like the Chaos Chariot. MEH.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Looking forward to see the images for the city volcano sets and nexo Knights! Friend Amusement Park very promising even though I'm a guy! Going to be wallet busting summer!

Gravatar
By in United States,

@thebrickdocter, it actually says globlin thrower. I'm guessing a globlin is going to be some king od lava monster. Sorry to be the bear of bad news, but just thought I would say something

Gravatar
By in United States,

3 UCS Star Wars this year?. . . . . .Im out. Cant justify a 2nd job for Lego ;)

Gravatar
By in United States,

No new TIE Bomber or TIE Interceptor yet? Tsk. Come on, Lego. Get with it!

But seriously, interesting new City sets...wonder what the Volcano sets will look like. Hoping that Ninjago offers up another large building structure set, those are really cool!

Gravatar
By in United States,

^^^ Globlins are already included in 70314 Beast Master's Chaos Chariot. They are just little bouncing balls of lava, nothing too special.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

'NRG LLoyd's Dragon'...Bringing back the NRG from 2012, it apparntley sounds like!!

The Nexo Knights sound AMAZING, and I LOVE the little globlins. XD

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm curious if Airjitzu Temple Grounds (70590) will be something to add onto the Temple from last year, that would be cool, and smart.

I love the Rebels sets so looking forward to seeing Captain Rex's Walker.

Gravatar
By in United States,

So where is that picture of that monster thing from?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Can't wait for the Amusement Park sets!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Amusement park sets! Friends pretty much always has excellent sets so I am looking forward to these. The volcano research sets sound sweet, as do the Gas Station, Park, and I'm interested in the creator lighthouse. And I'm sure I will get some NEXO Knights sets. Oh, and Captain Rex's walker will be a must buy as long as it does the one in Star Wars Rebels justice. And...

Almost all of these sets interest me. My poor, poor bank account...

Gravatar
By in United States,

No Elves?

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

When will be the release of 10253 Big Ben? Did anyone got some pics of it, I hope it will be the same size as the tower bridge!

Gravatar
By in United States,

@ToaDraco

Yeah, it's like they posted the list with a random picture randomly, to drive us crazy (at least two of us).

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I can't wait for City, Friends and Creator!

Gravatar
By in United States,

@pezhead @ToaDraco It's the surrogate Balrog! And they said there wouldn't be another LOTR set released.

Gravatar
By in Portugal,

I'll be looking for those "volcano themed" sets, as well as some of the StarWars... Hopefully the walker is the one from the "Rebels". Then, I'm still curious about the Nexo Knights since not a single one of them is yet visible here in Portugal...

Gravatar
By in Australia,

i wonder if these Ninjago sets are a continuation of skybound or a new sub-theme like we had last year? Maybe they will expand upon the whole Djinn thing.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wow, that City Gas Station is a must have. And another AT-TE? Hmmm.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Megalodon86 @Anak

Well there it is, I'm much to lazy for going on the Nexo Knights website to look. Still random to me.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Hyped for volcano

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Some of those Nexo Knights minifigs look epic! Whiperella looks a bit... adult(?) for the theme though. The name does not help.

Thanks for the list Just2Good and Brickset!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Are they ever going to make anything new for Star Wars besides stuff from TFA?

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Netgear45 I hope that you were being facetious .

Gravatar
By in United States,

The gas station and the Volcano sets will go perfectly together- wait... note to self, don't build them next to each other...

Gravatar
By in United States,

^Not unless you want every fire crew from 1978-2016 to come to get it out!

Gravatar
By in South Korea,

Please, oh please, let there be a Shmi Skywalker minifigure in Anakin's Podracer.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Any news on the 2016 Technic sets?? Thanks.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oooh, Ronin Mech!!
