The awesome 40252 Mini Volkswagen Beetle is now free with purchases over £35 / €40 / $50 at shop.LEGO.com, which is a really low threshold for such a cool set.

We'll be bringing you our review of it shortly but in the meantime you can use these links to place an order to secure one for yourself:

By in United States,

The rear is really not very good.
Not that the designer is no good, just appears to be mission impossible.

Just finished my order POTC brickheadz and the gt and gt40 Speed champions set

By in Germany,

I've put two qualifying orders out this morning. Let's see whether they actually send two. Technically, I think the 'rules' say only one per household...

By in South Africa,

Placed an order. Still looking for the mini Mini and mini VW Bus for a reasonable price though...

By in Ireland,

I'd be interested if the surfboard was printed rather than stickers.

By in United Kingdom,

This set reminds me of the early minifigure vehicles like the 608 taxi... in a good way!

By in Hungary,

kfr: they will send you one for both orders. I mean you will get two at the end. :)

By in Mexico,

:c I tried making an order the night it became available, but LEGO still refuses to ship to PO Boxes and since I live in a country that doesn't have a LEGO Store, even when the factory that manufacture 80% of LEGO sets for North America is not 30 minutes from my home...

By in United States,

I forget how long the calendar said this promotion lasts..It would be a neat set, but maybe I should wait to get Artoo in 1 month instead...I don't have all the moneys laying around unfortunately.

By in United Kingdom,

This gave me the push I needed to get the city police "high speed chase" and "money transporter" sets. Glad I did, and I also got a mini police car polybag, and free delivery

By in United Kingdom,

Just built my set acquired from the Leicester Square store today. It's a great little set. The only problem for me were the stickers for the rear side windows, which don't line up properly.

Until the 15th April in the US, I believe; a few days later in Europe.

By in Norway,

Just love the new "hurry, buy now 10% off" sales link on front page with some of the half priced sets from January still in there,

Gravatar
By in United States,

$50USD yet only like $42-43 for the Europeans. That's not fair. No more complaining Europeans! :p

Only $50? Hmm....

@sparrownest I had to smile when I saw Jestro's volcanic lair on sale for more or less was before they slapped another £10 on it!

Until 20th April in the UK.
Also, if you have the calendar still, (16th - 27th Apr) you can use Voucher 4 (the best one of the year) where if you spend £15, you get 100 bonus VIP points (£5 worth) for FREE! Just bring the voucher into any Lego Store with you.

By in United States,

I placed an order on April 1. The car was included in the package, which was nice.

I'm not actually interested in the car, but I gave the kit to a colleague who has a child in the proper age range. Gotta build those future engineers somehow.

No longer showing up in the US but 30351 is getting substituted instead! Somebody miscalculated terribly.

By in United States,

I got one while Easter Shopping, my dad loves it.

By in United States,

Disappointed that it is not longer available. However I did not want to buy $50 (at this time) worth of Lego sets just to get the mini beetle. I prefer the full size version anyway.

By in United States,

Just picked one up today at the San Francisco store. They seemed to have plenty of them.

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

Looks like it's out of stock now in Europe as well. It's no longer added to my shopping basket.

By in Romania,

It does not look like a Beetle. As in, at all. At best, it is vaguely reminiscent of a Citroën 2CV.
