The LEGO NINJAGO Movie video game!
Posted by CapnRex101,
The LEGO NINJAGO Movie dominated the news last week and returns to the fore today as The LEGO NINJAGO Movie video game has just been announced!
This was predicted by many as the recently revealed 30608 Kendo Lloyd features a code on the packaging, typical of a polybag which will be made available with a video game. We will let you know about the details of that promotion when they are confirmed.
You can watch the trailer for the game and read a bit more about it after the break...
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games and The LEGO Group today announced The LEGO NINJAGO Movie Video Game that will allow players to delve into the world of the new big-screen animated adventure The LEGO NINJAGO Movie. Developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, The LEGO NINJAGO Movie Video Game will be available in the UK for the PlayStation4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam on the 6th of October 2017.
“The LEGO NINJAGO Movie Video Game brings the non-stop action and thrilling combat of the film into the living room so kids can embark on their own Ninjago adventures,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games. “Enhanced movements will help players traverse Ninjago with the fluidity and grace of a secret ninja warrior and improve their combat skills.”
“The LEGO Group is pleased to extend the Ninjago play experience with The LEGO NINJAGO Movie Video Game,” said Sean McEvoy, VP Digital Games, The LEGO Group. “Fans will love playing as their favourite Ninjago heroes and joining an epic adventure of good versus evil.”
In the game, players battle their way through waves of enemies with honour and skill as their favourite ninjas Lloyd, Nya, Jay, Kai, Cole, Zane and Master Wu to defend their home island of Ninjago from the evil Lord Garmadon and his Shark Army. To do so, they must master the art of Ninjagility which allows them to traverse Ninjago by wall-running, high-jumping and battling the foes of Ninjago to rank up and upgrade the ninja’s combat skills. Players can harness the power of Spinjitzu combat to defend Ninjago together.
The game features eight large, action-packed locations based on the story of The LEGO NINJAGO Movie. Each location includes its own unique Challenge Dojo where players can put their combat skills to the test and battle with increasingly tougher enemies. And with Battle Maps, players can go up against their friends and family in four different game modes, with competitive split-screen local gameplay for up to four players.

Woo hoo! Two Lego video games in one year!
I now know to trust rumors about Lego video games; I didn't think Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 would be made, but it's coming this November, and I thought there was no way they would make a game for the Lego Ninjago Movie, but here you go.
@AdamDaLegoGuy correction: 4 with the release of Lego Worlds, Lego Marvel Superheroes 2, Lego City Undercover Remastered Edition, and the Lego Ninjago Movie Videogame. :)
Sooooo looking forward to this!!!!
Movie Trailer 2 tomorrow then? Maybe??
So much Ninjago Movie news!
This looks cool and all, but after 7 years, a game for the original franchise could have been so much more colorful and awesome!
The cash cow's udders are already sore but the milking is just getting started.
WHY DOES NOBODY MAKE WII U GAMES ANYMORE?
^ Cause the Wii U is dead.
Wow Gona buy this video game!
@Trigger_ as CM4Sci said Wii U will not get any new games. I just bought Nintendo switch so if you have Wii U and want to play this game I recommend you to buy a Nintendo switch or PS4 etc... When Wii U came they stopped making games for Wii.
The graphics doesn't look as good as on Marvel superheroes 2. But the game seems fun
The LEGO, Ninjago, Movie, Videogame.
I'm not saying I'm against it, but talk about milking the cash out of the fans. All in one hit. The game, based on a movie about characters from a toy company.
Good luck to them I say. Not really my go Ninjago but the LEGO games are usually good fun.
Very disappointed that both this title and Marvel Super Heroes 2 are not being offered on the WiiU. Looks great but I'm not buying a new system just for a game or two.
I never have time to play the games. I end up getting them for the free figure because the figure usually goes for stupid amounts of money. So I have a stack of games that are untouched. Waste of money...
Again @Lee Fogel the Wii U is dead. Nintendo has stopped doing anything with Wii U. Sorry
This is even more indication that dimensions is definitely cancelled
In my opinion, this supports the rumor of dimensions cancelling, because there would have been a story pack otherwise.
Looks like it'll be a fun game. Although, the graphics are hideous
I hope it has a good catch and it like Lego Marvel Superheroes.
According to brickstolife.com and the trailer posted on LEGO's YouTube channel, the game comes out September 22, to coincide with the film's release!! :)
Meh. Not getting it. It's just not my kind of game. I prefer realistic racing simulators, like Forza or Gran Turismo.
YEEEESSSHHH!!!! DIMENSIONS IS DED!!!!!!!!!
(sorry had to say that) Finally Lego and TT will go back to making REAL, REGULAR CHEAP GAMES THAT ARE NOT PTW!!
WHY ARE THERE NO MORE PS3 GAMES?
Lloyd, Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Nya, Master......CHICKEN?!?
brendothejet Is right!
This is a Game based on a Movie, based on a TV series, based on a toy company!
Eh...Might be cool!
Could have seen that coming since the 30608 kendo lloyd was found, beacuse on the left hand side of the pollybag there is a similar unlock code that was on the 30605 Finn (FN-2187) set.
So either Dimensions is definitely dead or TLG realised that making the TLBM game a story pack was a very bad idea. Actually it's probably both but hey at least we're finally getting a Ninjago game for consoles and PC after 3 portable exclusive games
