We were all so hyped for that castle, AND IT TURNS OUT TO BE A DUPLO?! XD lol
Can’t wait to get baymax!!
It might just be me, but I love the minifigures from all the sets (except the castle lol) and I will most likely get every single one! :)
Does Pinocchio actually have a nose!? Is that Jiminy Cricket next to him... he seems to have grown a bit compared to Pinocchio?
Dang, the minifigs look fantastic!
I can't tell if the Pinocchio head and hat are all one piece or if the head with an actual 3d nose is separate.
The one time we actually want an 18+ set and it’s nowhere to be found.
I want Robin Hood NOW! That's who started my very early furry addiction...
Also, why Prince John but no Maid Marian? Who wants that guy instead of Marian?
Ok, maybe _she_ is the one who started my early furry addiction...
The real question is, can Pinocchio's nose grow?
Robin Hood minifigs will go great with the 90th anniversary castle!
Why do they all say 501 pieces lol
At first I thought wow that's a decent price for a 501 piece Duplo castle, then thought maybe there is 51 pieces in it
I feel like this is *by far* the best Disney minifigure series--such a great variety of characters! My personal favorites are Cruella and Pinocchio, but I'm sure my kids and I will end up picking up most of these.
Also: I know it has been posted before, but I LOVE the way the Up house turned out!
Some interesting choices in the CMF assortment. Dr. Facilier is a welcome and unexpected addition, though two figures for COCO seems like a lot and I don't think anyone particularly wanted a Queen of Hearts minifig.
Pinocchio's nose is as disturbing as the film is.

The world just ain’t ready for a LEGO Marian.

OwO
Actually in all seriousness I pointed out immediately that Robin Hood would really draw in the furrys when I saw leaks of the figures. All LEGO needs next is some figures from Zootopia if they really want to corner the market. :P
Wow, these might be a pass for me but they look adorable.
Oh look a new way to get Tinkerbell which was not the Disney Castle!

"I guess it's interesting to see that even the furry-community wanted nothing to do with Vidiyo."
I mean Chima as well. Why give us a skunk than make it as ugly as Skinnet was? How am I supposed to use THAT figure as the base for a custom Sabrina Conrad and Zig Zag?!?
I mean um... I said nothing. Forget I said those names. Sabrina? You mean the teenage witch right? I KNOW NOTHING!! ;P
Robin Hood and Prince John will definitely find a way into my collection. The others don't interest me. I'm no Disney-fanatic, but rather very selective about which movie or TV series characters I would love to own as minifigs.
The Gummibears would be a nice addition imho for example. As would be characters from Jungle Book, Aristocats, Basil (the Great Mouse Detective, not Fawlty ;-)

Robin Hood is absolutely the best of the lot. And +1 to seeing some Gummi Bears ... and some ogres!

Also, this is proof for me again that the minidolls are redundant .

Yes! And Don Carnage!
Baymax!
That train would have made a great Duplo set--I thought it was until closer inspection.
I have no interest in that Pocahontas; that may be the first CMF I don't bother to keep even one of. (The fact that I'm a history buff may have something to do with the fact that I've no interest in the movie.) That said, loving the rest of the series, especially Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey, Oswald (I love the name tile so casual Disney fans know who he is!), and Flight Suit Stitch (with four arms!). I'm actually more interested in the Dalmatian than in Cruella De Vil. I am, however, very satisfied with my care, I mean the Baymax.
Up house is an instant buy for me. Minifigures wise, just Aurora and Mulan for me.

In fairness, it's a pretty nice Duplo-set.
Although I suppose that's a lot like saying "yes, I was hit by a car, but was a really nice car"."
It’s more like an adult critiquing the lack of character development in sesame street compared to breaking bad to try and sound smart.
It's a bit of a shame that Moana wasn't in the CMF. I probably would have picked her up if she was. I guess it saves me a bit more money.

Ok, but now I want a Fawlty Towers set too…
Manuel!
Why is there a Guitar behind Stich’s head? From Coco’s?

Say, wasn't old Walt friends with Leni Riefenstahl, and didn't Disney actually make a movie about the N--

You started it!
Adventure is out there!
I will never understand the decisions to make Jiminy a full figure instead of a nanofig with Pinoke, another, less useful Stitch, and the villain from Robin Hood. 3 wastes of figures in this lineup but at least the train somewhat makes up for it.

Got remember kids might like Jiminy... or others,
Who wants play with a very tiny figure.
Also its Disney and Lego, maybe Disney wanted that figure.
I think vilian robin hood looks great.
Got no interest in Disney, but looking forward to getting a bunch of the evil queen's balaclava head for some female TIE pilots and Inferno Squad to diversify the troops.
Good article and more than one great set! Just to note, the piece count above is incorrect on the sets, or at least some of them. It says 501 pieces for them all. Just pointing it out :) Thanks.
Interesting observation . . . in the first group shot of the CMF series there is an end of a guitar sticking out of Stitch's head. I think it is meant to be the end of the guitar from the the Miguel figure . . . but it is out of place.
Pretty sloppy graphic design mistake for a billion dollar toy company to make.

The chance of the actual print being as good as that of the promo-render is, well, less than stellar. Then again, maybe TLG will not risk the wrath of the House of Mouse. Maybe they'll up their print-game.
And we will live happily ever after."
The white mask print on black head was decent on Skeleton Guy, Series 14 CMF. I'd wager on extra care being put into the collectable figs compared to other themes.

Sure, but that was back in 2015, eight years ago. Have you seen Lady Iron Dragon, Mercy, or even more recently, the CMF24 Aristocrat? Don't let the pretty CG-renders fool you."
CMF24 Aristocrat looks perfectly fine to me:

Weird that for all their recent progressive politics, LEGO still went with Pocahontas.

In the Disney version of the story she is powerful and independent so I guess they don't see a problem with it.
Hmmm, should I still get that duplo castle? 501pcs for $100 in duplo terms isn't so bad...

To be honest I'm honestly not that bothered, since they stay under helmets anyway. I just like knowing that they each have a unique face print under there even if it is kinda grey. Inferno Squad at the moment are comprised of the classic balaclava trooper (as Meeko), Screenslaver (as Hask), Mercy (as Iden Versio) and a TMNT Foot Soldier with eye slots only (as Marana), will be nice to replace the foot soldier with another feminine face.
Zzzzz, wake me up when they make bigfigs of Baloo & King Louie.

Actually Duplo is long overdue for this - and there are normal Lego Disney castles already on sale.. I know of 5 different versions with different sizes now. Duplo only had a very smallish one with light brick.
It's about 100-120 pcs seen in the picture realistically, not 500. Notice that they messed up and every set here is showing 501 pcs.

Actually it can be seen at lego.com now and it says 160 parts. That's certainly not bad and I'm looking forward to see my daughter's face when she opens this for Xmas.

I agree... A lot of 80s Disney movie characters were severely underrated in the long run and deserved more than just the one initial outing!
