Poor Wilfred the walrus. He wants to be recognised for being in Catherines kitchen as well!

I love how bonkers Fabuland is.

The food ain't gonna stay fresh if you leave the door open! But I guess that's a cat for you. Always able to open doors, but never courteous enough to close them.

I want that fridge/cabinet now.

To Serve Walruses.

Really, her look says it all.

The metamorphosis from being the ruler of the sea to an ingredient in someone's soup. It's tonight's bill of fare from the Fabuland Zone.

By in Canada,

I've heard of breaking the 4th wall, but this is indeed chilling.

Once I managed to look away from the holding, unflinching glares of the occupants, I was able to appreciate the printed tiles in this set.

Isn’t it equally plausible she’s preparing fish for the both of them?

I still can't believe the cauldron piece originated in Fabuland.

Picture it: Fabuland, 1982. Actual lore from set 3672 .

"The story of The Cooking Contest.
Catherine Cat and Doctor Dog disagree over cooking.
Mike Monkey restores peace."

@MCLegoboy:
When I was a kid, my first cat, Pepper, ripped a bit of trim loose next to the door from the garage. It was a sliding door, and opened onto an internal handicap ramp that connected the garage to the house. She could then get her paw around the edge of the door and pull it open _juuuuuuust_ enough to squeeze through. Fluff, her overweight firstborn, then opened it a bit more with his girth.

@AllenSmith:
She does have quite the ambitious appetite, doesn't she?

I only see strawberries, corn, lettuce, and eggs. No fish. That's a very big cauldron. Cats are obligate carnivores. Things are looking gruesome here.

What’s stew, pussy cat?

I was just about to say, there does seem to be a lot of space in that refrigerator.

I guess it's walrus for dinner tonight!

The chilling photograph that depicts the precise moment when the CHIMA Wars were fully planned and outlined (1988, colourised).

A "Tusk" Lego set? They're really digging deep into the licensed IPs.

This almost feels like Animal Crossing

By in Turkey,

I have a few Sylvanian Families sets and one of them had a similar old style refrigerator. I didn't know Fabuland had one also.

By in United Kingdom,

The way they are staring at the camera is kinda creepy.
I didn't have this one because this was when I was at my "you're too old for Fabuland now" stage.
I do like that fridge. @Lego_lord I have a Sylvanian Families fridge too. It's very adorable.

And they 'wood' have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for that meddling notprofessor!

Ah, a classic from Fabuland's later years.

I refuse to believe an obligate carnivore has that much veg, and only veg, in her fridge. What happened to Mortimer Mouse, Catherine? He was last seen entering 341-2, your house with you! What did you do to the mouse, Catherine!

At first glance I thought this was a set I have, but then noticed several elements mine doesn't have. Seems like Catherine upgraded her kitchen....

As for carnivores and other animals living together in harmony (or maybe not....), just watch the Beastars anime!
(or read the manga)

@CaptainMoore the cooking pot is in a Halloween brickheadz from a few years ago. The Fabuland logo on the bottom is just blurred out - which I thought was quite hilarious.
I am now very curious what it's like on the bottom in the Belville set.....

"Um, excuse me miss Catherine? This coffee tastes funny. And I'm feeling sleepy all of a sudden. So very very sleepy..."

"It's OK Wilfred. You rest. I'm just cleaning my kitchen. My cauldron is so big, my fridge is so empty, my knives are so shiny and sharp"

Bait. Clearly it works very well. Very well indeed.

It was Catherine Cat, in the kitchen, with the knife.

It's not a fridge. It's a food library.
