Well, they tried.
It's been told that Chuck Norris once swallowed 4 live baby turtles.
When he crapped them out 13 years later they had grown to 6 feet (~2 meters) tall and had learned karate.
FACT
Kraang's Turtle Target Practice? No no no, this is Kraag practicing stealing Christmas! The green bowling pins are clearly small trees that they're practicing completely obliterated!
Right?

... did they, though?

Nah. Remember, this is a Ninja Turtles set, and those are microfigures of each of them. Clearly Kraang has invaded Santa's workshop and is in the process of destroying gifts!
Oh give them a break will you. It’s Christmas!
I’ve got a set of these Turtles in one of the display cases of my LEGO Store, representing the time I displayed my Bionicle TMNT MOCs in a display case at our local LEGO Store back when the Community Window program was still active.
Great torso print, can't say the same thing for the face though.

um... ok...

That depends on whether or not you get banned, and have all your past posts deleted.
$3.99!

You’re a mean one, Mr Kraang!
I know that you can play with your toys however you like, but Mama Kraang spent good money on those turtle figures, they need to be treated better.
With only 36 pieces this set has a tremendous play value. Very cool 'minifigs' of the turtles.
You 'could' use this as a giant Kraang robot with regular sized square turtles...
Just saying.
Either way, I think this one's a creative polybag. For shame that it wasn't available anywhere over here (AFAIK) outside of probably a GWP or something.
My sister watches TMNT. I think I have a few parts of that minifigure in our parts bin

This is 100% a weird scene that I can see the 2012 TMNT doing, only the turret and mini turtle models would be a lot less appealing and a lot more low-poly than their LEGO counterparts.
In retrospect, it's a dang shame (or...is that 'sham'...:|) that TLG didn't make a Kraang PART for TMNT...I mean: they HAVE a CRAB, it's NOT TOO FAR A STRETCH...:)
I remember this set. It was my honor to be the one back in June of 2013 to bring this to Huw's and Brickset's attention. One day I was just searching for some TMNT sets and I found this polybag and discovered that the set hadn't been entered into the database at that time. Just because of that, I made sure that I bought a couple extra copies of this polybag.

*cough 79100 cough*
I really had hoped this set had been more widely available.
Foot Soldiers (Foot Clan Ninja) were generously spread amongst the first TMNT Sets to make small 'army' display, however there was only one Kraangdroid and in top of it in the largest set!
This polybag is the perfect fix to that. I also like the target pins, aside from the seat cushions in the Turtle Lair, this is the only time a single piece appeared in all 4 Turtles colors at once!
@PurpleDave: Ok, ok, OK...I guess *include* would be a better terminology for this one...funny enough, I have the other set; and kinda' forgot about Kraang in it...weird.:)

You should tell your sister she has good taste.

There were three Kraang droids. The battle damaged human costume was a NYCC exclusive (and one of only two TMNT minifigs I don’t own). The one you’re thinking of is the solid light-bley Kraang endoskeleton that was indeed only in one set. This version, where the medium-blue is supposed to represent a gel-like substance that covers the endoskeleton to provide the shape for the human costume, was in four sets. In two, it was just the head/torso/legs, and in two there was a neck bracket with some sort of jetpack attached. Anyways, the trick, of course, was to be able to buy every set they released, plus multiples of this polybag, plus buying extra Foot Soldiers and Kraang bots while they could be cheaply obtained. I think I have at least ten each of the two basic variants of Kraang bots in my display collection, but it’s been several years since I actually put either Kraang bots or Foot Soldiers on any layouts. Most recently, I’ve been displaying Tiny Mutant Ninja Turtles, of which the first version can be seen here:

At our Detroit Symphony Orchestra, I was finally able to display them with the decorated turtle shell dishes from Monkie Kid’s Turtle Minister.
@brick_r:
There were definitely issues with how they spread characters around. Only one set came with a gel-free Kraang endoskeleton. Only that set came with a loose Kraang (which was big enough to fit _over_ a standard minifig head, and dwarfed the printed version on the Kraang bits). The gel-covered Kraang bot wasn’t so bad, but Leo was constantly restricted to expensive sets while Mikey was always the easiest to obtain (even coming in one polybag). Only Leo ever got a Shadow variant, and that’s the other minifig I don’t own (there’s also a pizza slice set I don’t have). For the live-action sets, two of the Turtles only shipped in one set, and the other two shipped in two, so I’ve got an extra half-set of Turtles.
Then there are the other mutants. They really pushed certain characters who were original to the Nick show, like Dogpound and Fishface. We never actually got Baxter’s mutant form (I made one anyways), and I’m still pissed the line got cancelled without producing squirrelanoids (I did get the action figure). And of course some would have preferred mutants from the first animated series, while I’d like a full range of characters from the 2003 series.
