Placing a precious jewel ON TOP of the glass case makes me think Princess Rosaline isn't quite the brightest bulb in the box. Also, it's not much of a room with only 1 portion of a wall....

I stayed up too late, just to discover this...

Sleep is overrated anyway.

By in United States,

Super Mario Galaxy sets confirmed?!?!

(I know it's Rosalina, not Rosaline, but close enough)

Ha! I just bought that tower roof part in black at my local Bricks & Minifigs store just last weekend. Ha ha ha. Didn’t know the part came in a glittery transparent pink.

Funny enough I started playing Mario Galaxy today, and that game prominently features a princess named Rosalina

I can't even tell if there's anything under the glass (possibly it was used to store some sort of desert, and she's already eaten it). The "wall" looks more like an emergency rain shelter.

Ah, the green fairy
Evidently the clear container used to contain absinthe
Or maybe that's what the designers were drinking when they came up with this

I would hate R_otD to be posted at night here. There's no way I would stay up that late. And by the time you wake up in the morning, there are already lots of comments. Thankfully here in NZ it posts in the afternoon. Although sometimes it's annoying because if you're going out somewhere, and you get home later, (like I have today) there are already lots of comments.

By in Germany,

Imagine a non-Belville set applying stickers the way like in this set.

By in United States,

These inventories are still missing data from the official LEGO inventories that were updated almost a year ago. Is a fix for that incoming?

By in United Kingdom,

Rosaline is really going to regret not have walls when that witch-storm coming in from the left hits her

By in Germany,

Despite the overload of pink everywhere, I remember all I could see as a kid were those sickly trees and dark bats in that lurking evil forest that takes up about 10% of the box art. Consequently, I felt uneasy about this set. Kids minds are interesting.

“After waking to find herself still in the living hell that was Belleville Rosaline found solace in the only way she knew”

The diseased trees and flying witch are her reality and the absinthe her only release.

Now hands that do dishes
Can feel soft as your face....

I strongly advise reading this set’s instructions. The narrative is mind blowing!

Roomy.

Too bad about the giant green avocado mosquitos. They'll keep you up all night.

Between the turret roof piece and the tall pillar, there's more Belville in early Harry Potter's DNA than I'd realised.

Thanks for the suggestion.
That was kind of fun. Lego should do that more often. Iron Man sets would be a good candidates, or some of the new space base sets.

Indeed! I loved how they told Rosalina's story in that game. I also really loved the observatory and the waltz that plays in it. The music in that game is phenomenal! Have you played it before, or is this a first time?

Now THAT is a baseplate.

The same one was used in green for at least one minifigure set: 5987.

The Pirates sets that were big enough to have a flap and a view-the-parts-and-a-minifig window under it, back when those were things, had the story of that particular set on the reverse side of the flap. I used to love reading those in the store.

I 'm one of the 234 that own this set, actually it's my daughter's, but it's still in my basement. I like that these castle pieces were just re-colored and used for HP sets (my family's favorite theme then & now) and the lamp post piece is still used in all the modulars.

It used to be perfect for me; 9pm. That was my time to finally get off the computer and get ready to sleep. Then random part of the day was added, but it wasn't a big deal because that was an hour earlier, but then when the minifig was added, it threw the sets an hour later, and it's sucked ever since, at least for someone like me on the east coast. And because I have to be up by 5am, I can't stay up until 10 and then not actually begin to finally sleep until 11.
