From my favourite Star Wars film.

Episode II is so underrated, I don't know why.

By in Canada,

The head of Stass Allie holds a record in my collection for the highest price I have ever paid for one minifig part: $8.

Oh, wow! I gotta say, that minifg of Stass Allie is excellent.

Dwarfs and spiders.

By in Australia,

Say, what a coincidence. I was chatting with a friend the other day and she mentioned her mother was writing Lily Nyamwasa’s (Stass Allie) memoir. As a LEGO Nerd, I just had to mention her appearance in this set! Crazy to see it as RSotD a few days later.

Not a bad set overall, but one of the weaker Star Wars sets from 2013.

My Football Coach from Series 24 already had torso cracks and arm cracks one month after purchase.

The Stass Allie fig from this set that I used and abused has no cracks.

What the flip lego????

Probably because all those scenes with that horrible dialog like infamous "I hate sand".

I still like the film myself too especially end part where clones arrive and it's just this cool full on war.
I think those parts with Anakin and Padme are hilarious like when Anakin just tells how he murdered all sand people not just men and Padme is there like whatever. :D
"

Obi-Wan: I saw a security hologram of Anakin... killing younglings.
Padme: What? He would never do that!
*Flashback Anakin*: I killed them all! Not just the men, but the women and children too!
Padme: No wait he probably would

Yeah...all of that, still a good movie if you skip every si gle scene wirh anakin and padme alone. Amazing writers could make two good actors look like crap...repetedly

One of the GOATs.

I glanced at this article and I thought it said homecoming Spider-Man

Gravatar
By in United States,

Homing Spider Droid? So, what, you drop this on the field of battle, and two weeks later it shows up on your doorstep?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wonder if they’ll ever get around to making a figure of Allie’s cousin Adi Gallia.

By in Australia,

Definitely a 'big, threatening spider' week here on Brickset.

I'm Australian, though, so that is literally 90% of my life.

This probably isn't even the biggest one you've stepped on this week.

By in New Zealand,

Sad this droid was only at the battle of Geonosis. It is pretty cool, but I guess the octuptarra droid superseded it.

Also, this set was one of the last sets to feature the old super-battle droid before it had a 10 year hiatus until it appeared in 75372.

Battle Droid: "No, no, NO...I said: Get the HOMING Spider Droid"
H.B.D.: "D'oh!!!"
(Hey, why not...they're ALL owned by 'Dismal' now...:))

The scenes were alright, except for the "I'm in agony" scene, and the "I don't like sand" DIALOGUE ONLY, because Padme was sexy in that scene. And the "I killed them all" scene too.

@Maxbricks14 stalk you're love interest till she becomes you're girlfriend
It's decent but anakin is an annoying adolescent and you beter ignore the plotholes.

Perhaps you drop it on a planet and two weeks later it shows up on the doorstep of someone you want dead?

You're not wrong. Yet, neither am I. This was the Golden Age of SW as well as Lego.

Thus, a set that was at the bottom of the barrel in 2013 is still a GOAT.

An amazing Jedi with an individual mold, clones, super battle droids, and two great builds- for $30. The large build took quite a bit of engineering to make it work.

You can tell that the people running SW (and Lego, for that matter) are not the same as the ones doing it today.

Those were fans. Now, we have glorified accountants and disinterested grey-beards who don't know a Vader from a Sidious-- in their own, damn toy!!

By in Netherlands,

They really perfected this one here.

And much pew-pew-pewing was had by all

It was also seen on Felucia in Episode 3.

Anakin was such a wanker in that movie I just couldn't believe a hottie like Padme would fall for him. That sort of made me not like it as much.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

It's a shame they never reused the Tholothian headpiece to make an Adi Gallia minifigure.

As for the set, this is easily the best version of the Spider Droid. It is more detailed than the 2016 remake which has stud shooters.

Gravatar
By in United States,

LEGO really needs to remake this set.

Gravatar

I thought it said Homer Spider Droid when I first looked at the name

The minifig is now worth more than the original RRP of the whole set.

LEGO definitely needs to remake this set. Its a masterpiece

Gravatar
By in United States,

I recently built this set. It’s great and the Stass Allie minifigure is very detailed.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Cool Stass Allie minifigure! I also love how common Phase 1 clone trooper minifigures were in sets back then

True. I felt the same way when I first saw it.

Now, after raising a Chosen One of my own, I feel that the portrayal is probably precocious and accurate.

Unfortunately, so is Padme's reaction. Women (all people for that matter) say they want a stable mate, but instead they always go for the arrogant hottie.
