So the jet loves their country?

Gravatar
By in United States,

What is going on with that body? Perhaps it is aerodynamic, but I have my doubts...

Patriot to which country?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I need this one. Always wanted it when I was a kid.

By in United States,

I always liked the fact that the cockpit cover was attached to an access hatch; so opening the cockpit also revealed some greebles.

Powered by Spyrius.

By in Canada,

I’ve always appreciated those tool wheels on sprues. And yellow drawers, that was uncommon.

Also the two paddles make it look to me like double vision.

By in United Kingdom,

Is the jet taking off or landing? Either way, that seems like a risky place to stand

I think the bald eagle stickers on the tail are a pretty big hint there!

Yes, to all three, because that's how we do it here in the US.

No, seriously, the Michigan Air National Guard did touch-and-goes with A-10's on a stretch of highway a few years ago as a training exercise.

Of course! Eagland!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

While very blocky looking now, it's actually quite aerodynamic looking for it's time.

Where is that in relation to New SeaLiond?

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Dosen't really look a thing like a parrot...types of macaws perhaps...(finger-ear) what...'patriot'?...So, France? No...Cuba? No...I could be at this a while...:D

Gravatar
By in Turkey,

I've always thought the cocpit looked too bulky for a jet. I think, if they made the plane a little longer, like 3-4 studs, pilot could have leaned backwards and the plane could be designed more aerodynamic.

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

I hope that when the pilot of the Patriot Jet drives on the road he’s driving only 6646 Screaming Patriot!

The Netherlands or Luxembourg…as long as you’re looking at it upside down

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Cool little set - though I'm not sure the minifigure looks much like Tom Brady.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Fun set! I love the engine built inside with some detailing uncommon for the era. It's also quite sleek (for the time). Lego in the 90s had such a charm to it...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

If this was meant to be a jet "bubble" canopy then it doesn't really work for me. Also looks really heavy with the wing scrapping the grass not a good sign, but understand rapid ascent to avoid the mechanic standing in the middle of the runway!

No space for passengers. No space for cargo. No weapons. - What is the purpose with this jet?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Such and absolutely AWESOME set! One of my favorites as a child. Still have it too. I loved any and all sets with a plane!

Gravatar
By in Austria,

with a different wingshape, this could pass as a chibified F-15. the logo looks like something you'd find on an average VFA insignia.

Those Jets iirc usually are used purely for Flagcolor dyed contrails on 4th July in real life.

Acrobatic shows perhaps?

Gravatar
By in Canada,

It looks as is the pilot is attempting to brake the plane by dragging a wing along the ground, in order not to hit the ground crew person.

Like the Geebee, it’s probably designed purely for performance. Either speed or agility would be the main focus, with the other as secondary.

Looks like it's about to bring democracy to oil-producing countries… I mean clearly terrorist countries…

Posted exactly three weeks early for Fourth of July. The fireworks sellers here haven't even started yet where I am! (Though they are getting ready to make everyone's lives miserable and scare the sh!t out of everybody's pets with the stuff they sell)

C'mon! Fourth is for burnt fingers, wide eyes, and busted eardrums.

In my day, fireworks were a time to rubberband a minifig to a half-dozen bottlerockets and salute!

Or, cut a two liter bottle in half. Put in a spinner and a headless Star Wars Kenner figure. Put it back together and watch it all melt as one.

It really is a metaphor of the American experiment.

P.S. We're all here to keep the rest of you safe.

P.P.S. Put a black cat in an ant hill.

Colors are actually in the correct order, for those people who put their flags upside down in protest (in recent years it happened a lot more)

Other then that , maybe it's a relic of Yugoslavia, which did have Blue , White , Red flag from 1918-1941 (then occupied by Axis), and then the old flag again with a Red Star added from 1946-1992.

My orders came through. My squadron ships out tomorrow. We're bombing the storage depots at Daiquiri at 1800 hours. We're coming in from the north, below their radar.

1 of 6 planes that year for Town, Light Aircraft and Ground Support 1808 Sea Plane with Hut and Boat 1817 Aircraft and Ground Support Equipment and Vehicle 1818 Patriot Jet 6331 Gator Landing 6563 and Eagle Stunt Flyer 6615 that must be some sort of record. Some very precise names also.

While this particular set looks like ass, I do love this era of the town/city theme.
