By in New Zealand,

We've got the police, on RMotD, and now fire here!

And still, the vehicle streak continues!

Just missing the coin slot and the power cord.

I gotta know if these things even exist in the real world, or if LEGO just makes them up because no way an actual firehouse has one seater 4x4s like this hanging out at the station, right? There's just so many in LEGO's catalog.

Apparently LEGO makes ATV's because they are open topped, and therefore suitable for play, even though they might not exist in the real world.

We just did a display at an outdoor festival, and the cops were driving around in vehicles that looked very much like golf carts, but with police livery on them. I wouldn't expect a fire department to use something like this on a daily basis, but they certainly might for special tasks, like creating a fire break to stop a wildfire from advancing. For that, they'd need to be highly maneuverable, and capable of negotiating tight terrain, for which an ATV would be the perfect vehicle.

By in Germany,

Another one of THOSE!

By in Poland,

I didn't have it but I like it. It's early 90s design language built with late 00s parts.

But fire the 4x4 out of what though?

By in Turkey,

I've never liked these overly simplified pile of bircks. Serves no purpose other than having extra car parts.

By in Netherlands,

I like the chunky wide windscreen on this thing. Not bad for a polybag

By in Germany,

Reminds me of 6511? Though the 1992 one had a windscreen.

By in Poland,

the firefighter looks suspiciously familiar...

This one's got a windscreen, it's just tiny.

Forestry fire services use these a lot. A while back I sold a 4427 to someone who said his son uses one a lot like it to battle tree blazes.

@PurpleDave: But PD, why would you need a 'coin slot' and a 'power cord' on this...clearly it built by "Power Wheels" and thus uses batteries...Hmmm, now that I think about 'that': Have we been "Going Electric" since we were kids?:)
