By in United States,

Is that an outhouse with a glass door? What kind of freaky exhibitionism are these folks into?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Are we sure this isn't just some kind of facade being put forth by Weetabix?

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

For a second I thought that person with the black hair had an unreleased hair piece but it was just the pigtail part side on.

That doesn't look like it's part of a nutritious breakfast at all

I love that random red door. It’s like a portal into another dimension. So randomly weird. Is this some kind of outdoor art? “Outdoor”, get it? ;-)

I'm guessing it's a red telephone box.

By in Japan,

The only (and probably first full Lego set) Weetabix set i got was 1484 in 1987 and by then they had settled their models into much more sensible and developed layouts (just don't pay too much attention to how spare the interiors are haha). Still my favourite to rebuilt for nostalgia reasons. Also doubles as a set to build a Weetabix character (probably Dunk or Crunch. I'll build him and post on Discord)

By in United States,

Yes, this is a pretty weak house, why d’ya ask?

Whazzat? Week house? No, I don’t think it’ll last a week. It’s one light breeze away from becoming kindling.

Yellow legs on a proto fig? Quite obscure!

Yep - 2 doors back to back. I had to eat a lot Weetabix to collect all these sets

As a kid on our annual holiday in England I thought Weetabix looked (and likely tasted) like shredded and pressed-together wood chippings, but our English best friend's mum loved the stuff, and in her later years pretty much exclusively ate it.

She went on to live until the age of 99, passing away just a few weeks shy of her 100th birthday!

Can't have been too unhealthy after all I guess.

Our house, was our castle and our keep!

"This is Blasphemy! This is Madness!"
"- No, this is Lego!"

By in Netherlands,

For the fist time I notice the red telephone booth outside. Fun detail. Very British.

By in Ireland,

Have this set myself. Think I recently packed it away...

Even if that is a telephone box, not an outhouse, that fig is still an exhibitionist, walking around without pants on like that...

Nor do hips. But hands can lie, if you know sign language.

The red-haired one isn't wearing pants.

Just what I expect from the comments. Same as it ever was.

It is still the best selling breakfast cereal here. Low calorie, low sugar, reasonably high fibre, so a lot better than many other breakfast products.

No doubt.
But for me as a kid it just couldn't compete with the products from Kelloggs (of course especially geared towards the tastes of children), like Frosties, Smacks, etc.
Then again, our best friend worked at a Unilever factory where they produced a very tasty muesli at the time, which I loved to combine with Frosties. What a grrreat way to start a day. Thank you Tony ;-)

Sentimental saps. They always get caught in the web of tears.

By in United Kingdom,

This has honestly aged pretty well considering it's age, excluding the figs. I could imagine it being a suggested build in a 2000s creator set like 4406

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

This solves a mystery for me. I have all those pieces and always wondered what set they came from. I would have been 4 so my parents must have got it by eating lots of cereal. ??
