By in New Zealand,

Lots of Chima recently!

And that's a nice six-pack there, Leonidas!

Oh sure, give the guy with the best name the dumbest look on his face. Are you kidding me?

Update on watching Chima:
I've now finished the first 20 episodes and for every good thing it does, it undercuts it with something dumb. The show starts to really reel me in, but then we gotta have bad comedic moments occur, too. Again, I know I'm 30 watching a show that's 10 years old meant for kids even younger but my goodness. I still love the Gorillas being hippies though, that's a fun subversion, and the Rhinos are so stupid that it actually becomes funny again just how stupid they are. But man, this show is just a mixed bag.

By in United States,

I'm honestly disappointed with the Leonidas minifigure. In the show, the Lion Tribe guards look a lot like him, but the actual sets have him depicted as some tired, hungover guy instead.
He could've worked well as a great army-builder (like Ewar from the Eagle Tribe), but alas...

I’m pretty sure that’s just a soapbox derby racer.

Gotta agree honestly. It gets kinda better though, eventually.
But you've gotta agree the soundtrack is amazing

The only Lego show I've watched, is Ninjago, because the rest just don't seem interesting to me.

If you're talking the rock song for the intro it's an earworm that becomes a bit annoying when left alone with one's thoughts. I'm also not sure how it's even really thematically relevant to the show.
The score throughout the actual show is not bad, but the same pieces get used over and over and over again. Some of it is certainly appropriate for thematic effect, but there are also times were it's just the generic action music being played whether someone's riding a Speedor through the forest or a big battle is happening.
There was one bit where this sad emo song was playing during Laval's Exile and I was like, "What's happening here?" It was kind of out of place since the only instance of any rock being used is in the intro. Could have just been some somber Chima music, but no, gotta go the emo route. It was a little funny.

Of all the vehicles Lego has called a dragster, this has to be the least dragster-like.

It's pretty sad when you've been deemed inferior to the likes of 30358, 1250, or 1528, but all three at the same time? Ouch.

By in United Kingdom,

I feel the jungle is a terrible place for drag races, very little of it is straight and flat. Invest in a 4x4 Leonidas!

By in Turkey,

I like the minifigures in Chima. The sets are a mixed bag, some nice, some not so nice.

By in Netherlands,

I found this one and 30252 Crug's Swamp jet in Sweden back in the day. I believe they were my first Chima sets after 70000 Razcal's Glider. This range examplified the jump to 5 digut set numbers too.
I never got anything bigger than Eris' Eagle Interceptor, but most of the sets didn't interest me. But these ploybags were fun. I find them cute, and I love how much they achieve with so little. Who needs a giant croc boat or an oversized lion buggy when these still bear a resemblance to the animals that pilot them?
These were also a fun challenge to make alternate models of.

In hindsight I would have liked to get more of the polybags from the later eras of the theme. Ah well.

By in United Kingdom,

Yep. This is definitely a set of all time.

Yes. The first two had the long noses like real dragsters, and $1528 still has a spoiler, although it fails on every other count, so I'd call ir the second least dragster-like.

$1528 is a lot of money for a LEGO dragster, even one with a spoiler... And not very good value if it fails on every other count.

The only "drags" going on are the lines of Chi dust Leonidas is snorting going by that look on his face.

Was the drug metaphor in Chima an unintentional one of Lego's part?

I'm glad I'm not only one who made the Chi = drug comparison. Lego HAD to know the potential optics of this story decision... right?

Yeah, some sets can go for surprisingly high amounts on the aftermarket.
