Unfortunately my local lego certified store didnt have the same GWPs (I really wanted the pumpkin for parts) but they *were* giving away 40426 for purchases over $300, which equated to about a 10% discount. Normally I wouldnt buy lego at such a low discount but I gave in this time because I really wanted those buildable minidolls and I want those sets to do well

Hmm. In the UK the Batmobile went from allegedly available, to backordered until Oct 3, by 00:20. I wonder if anyone actually got a UK order through. I'm not convinced it was genuinely ever available! Oh well... only a couple of days delay.
At least Santa's Post Office and Delivery Truck went through OK (plus a couple of pumpkins and bombers).

So the Batmobile apparently sold out instantly world wide (well, Denmark, Canada, Australia, US, UK at least!). I knew it would be popular but that sounds more like a Holy distribution cock-up Batman!

Decent to have 2 GWPs at the same time. Perhaps Lego are starting to see a slow down in sales too?

According to LEGO, my batmobile is due for delivery today but I pre-ordered it a while back. What I have noticed is that they have still to ship the supply llama and peely bone (both pre-ordered) which they have not sent out yet. Unusual because I normally see sets shipped out prior to the actual release date. Both sets still shown as 'In Warehouse'.

Guess I will just have to see what happens later today.

Pretty average line up. My only interests are in the Sail barge and it's Lightsaber GWP, but I can't afford it, so i'll have to pass.

The minecraft set reminds me of those double pack buildable mobs we got a few years back; 21156 21148 21157 for example

Sounds promising. I guess I'll just make do with mine shipping by the 3rd.... better than the US forecast of shipping by the 19th!

I honestly think that Shadow bust is the worst Lego set I have ever seen.

More like give shoppers another reason to make another purchase session. That and take some stress off their online ordering system. Out here in Canada not all items were available right at midnight...seemed staggered availability over 40min, with the Batmobile coming last...and backordered first, followed by the Battle Bus. Figure not many units were left after all the pre-orders :(

The 10370 was shipped yesterday because I preordered it last month.

I have two bricks and pieces orders in the warehouse, one made today so I could earn the gwps.

I hope to get the 10340 and 31213 at some point.

I'm expecting the bricklink series to ship this month and of course the next one is on the 8th.

And I took advantage of the double points to get 10333 during the weekend.

I wanted 75397 but it's one expense too many, I just think it's too much for something I'm only mildly interested in, considering what else is coming this year and what I have left to get.

I'm looking forward to build the battle bus! The set is well made and a beautiful standalone model in my opinion, even if you are not a playing Fortnite.

Got an email to say that 10370 is to be delivered tomorrow, which is very quick. I think I had one preorder that arrived the day it was supposed to be shipped once, but still, didn't expect it so soon.

Almost everyone has been so kind or quick to accommodate recently. I know the above is pure coincidence, and life is normal again 3 months later, with most ignorant of events, though we learn that more knew than we heard from during the time, but the memory is powerful, especially when I think of my late grandmother, and worry about genetics.

But life goes on, and I must not dwell, as I am reminded that not everyone is kind or accommodating, even when in possession of the facts.

The Mario and Yoshi set I preordered arrived today. Can’t wait to put it together. I think the Shadow bust will be my next set from this wave.

Very pleased to see my Batmobile go from 'Backorder' to 'In Warehouse' quicker than anticipated.
Several October releases that I'm still very tempted by but I must show restraint as the Botanical Garden will be an instant day 1 purchase if the final release is anything like as good as the original submission!
