By in New Zealand,

Remake when? I would love a new 212th battlepack, but without the Tridroid since we got one recently. Oh, and include the cloth kama for the Airborne troopers while you're at it, Lego. But before that do a battlepack for the Wolfpack troopers first.

Lego definitely needs to remake this awesome set, the Utapau clone troopers and the Octuptarra droid just look awesome!

By in United States,

I bought one Airborne trooper secondhand while they were still cheap... considering this was a wide release battle pack those guys and the ARC trooper from a few years earlier shock me with how expensive they have become. Normally I would think "battle pack = cheap" in the secondhand market, but dang the demand for these guys is through the roof.

I am not as nostalgic for cloth kamas as other people are and am a bit indifferent on it (a cloth or printed kama is better than the hard-plastic 2008 kama anyways) but yeah, dust off the molds or retool them for the helmet; and get these guys in some modern sets again please.

They could possibly do one next year, given that it's the 20th Anniversary of ROTS and 75337 is staying on shelves through 2025.

Personally I'd wanna see two 212th Troopers, a 212th Officer, and a 212th Airborne Trooper. The build would be a Crab Droid and maybe some Utapau terrain

The airborne troopers are my favourite Clone trooper variant. I just find them so cool.

Awesome set, definitely needs a remake at one point. Or really just some more Utapau sets would do.

It's Octuptarra, not octupara, by the way. And if this set were to be remade i'm with @WolfpackBricksStudios in wanting being a crab droid instead.

My take on the printed Kamas is this: I'm fine with them in playsets, because the fabric parts do indeed fray and tear with too much use. But for 18+ display sets, LEGO doesn't have that excuse and should include cloth Kamas (*cough* 75367 *cough*)

And yeah, LEGO seriously owes us a 104th Battle Pack.

In my LEGO clone army, I have female clone troopers (basically an AU where the Kaminoans experimented with changing Jango's chromosomes, like with Omega and Emerie Carr) and I decided that they should all use Airborne helmets for some reason.

(I use https://brickset.com/parts/6356859/mini-head-no-3531 for their heads, in case you were wondering)

Capes can fray and tear too. And they are in playsets.

...which is why rubber capes are now a thing

Currently only in DC and Marvel. But i'd say that's about to change, unfortunately.

@xboxtravis7992:
I'd be fine with printed, if they'd only require the use of dual-molded legs. Neither looks perfect, but I could more easily forgive a bit of color showing through on the inner thigh than a bare butt.

Great idea. I'd rather this than cloth kama.

Two of these clones have the helmet they used for the Fallen Order Purge Troopers, right?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I could have bought this set, but I always hated the helmet style. I loved the build being a separatist droid though and the new orange clones as prior 212th were yellow. This style was certainly far superior to the clone wars P2 design. That being said, I definitely think the modern style is better. I do think I miss the colored arms though.
I wouldn't mind seeing a new 212th battlepack although other legions are far more deserving like 104th and 327th.

By in United States,

It hadn't really occurred to me before, but the OCTuptarra droid really should have had eight legs.

By in United States,

I’d like LEGO to take a cue from 7913 Clone Trooper Battle Pack and release a new pack that includes four clones, each from different factions. The way I see it, it’s the best way to satiate all the camps who want clones from the most popular legions.

Galactic Marines, 212th, Wolfpack, and Kashyyyyk ought to do nicely. Just want Marines? Sell the other three on the aftermarket and recoup your losses. Rinse and repeat. Everybody wins. (Until the 327th fans rise up and demand their battle pack… no, the truth is that clone fans will never be satisfied and that’s by design; LucasFilm’s merchandising department has them by the balls. Has us all by the balls.)

I own five of these sets.

Rubber gets pale and milky. Eventually, the sun will go red giant, white dwarf, and they fade to black.

LEGO does not "owe" us anything. Don't be that guy!

Much better job blending in the orange than with the bomb squad troopers from one of the early battle packs

AFOLs when there's a flimsy piece of fabric on their clone troopers hips:

By in Netherlands,

I always found the legs a bit simple. But then again it also might be a good thing.

Oh, and it has both flick fire missles and stud shooters. I remember the uproar about those. At least those stud shooters are round, not the boxy stuff we have now.

Gravatar
By in United States,

So good. I only bought the one copy, but the figs are incredible, and the Octuptarra Tri-Droid is also pretty decent for the smaller version. Not perfect, but a great first attempt. I know some people have a problem with the studshooter guns, but if you factor in how many other sets come with blasters for minifigs that are always piloting a ship, then you can just steal those blasters and give them to these guys.

By in Canada,

Peak nostalgia for me! I remember waiting for this wave to come out and buying this set, the Kashyyyk battle pack, and the BARC speeder/droids set on day 1 as a kid. (Well, actually day two, because as I remember, the actual day 1 was Family Day in Canada, and stores were closed). Good times!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

One of the best battlepacks ever! 4 massable units that have the unmatched 2014 Clone Trooper design and a canon vehicle/droid. What more can you ask for? Well, other than regular blasters of course, but this was the introduction to the stud shooter epidemic.

By in United States,

I enjoy reading fellow SW fans’ comments when we get a RMotD or RSotD that is along the theme. I don’t post much, but reading the comments has me wondering. I’m a huge fan of the battle packs…and appreciate each one for what it is in its time and space, but does anyone else think it would be cool to have the Clone Battle packs release different phases of clone armor in the same battle pack? Not sure if this is too expense for Lego or maybe I am just a weirdo. P1 armor has always been my favorite.

By in United States,

I wish I’d seen ROTS by 2014 because all the cool ROTS sets released in that year but without the film I had no desire to get these.

Gravatar
By in Turkey,

I got this as a present. Since I’m not into any SW other than the original trilogy, it went straight to parts bin.

Lego owes me more than they can ever repay, and they won't ever try.

I'm that guy. ;)

"Calm. Kindness, kinship. Love. I’ve given up all chance at inner peace, I’ve made my mind a sunless space. I share my dreams with ghosts. I wake up every day to an equation I wrote 15 years ago from which there’s only one conclusion: I’m damned for what I do. My anger, my ego, my unwillingness to yield, my eagerness to fight, they’ve set me on a path from which there is no escape. I yearned to be a savior against injustice without contemplating the cost, and by the time I looked down, there was no longer any ground beneath my feet.

"What is... what is my sacrifice? I’m condemned to use the tools of my enemy to defeat them. I burn my decency for someone else’s future. I burn my life, to make a sunrise that I know I’ll never see. No, the ego that started this fight will never have a mirror, or an audience, or the light of gratitude. So what do I sacrifice?

"Everything!"

Someone who doesn't need my minifigs mooning me, Highlander style.
