Pulling a wheelie like that on a public road is probably illegal. Just because you enforce the law does not mean you are above it. It was probably worth it though, looks awesome.

The vehicle is actually 4x7 studs, so you're getting more than it says!

Minifig needs a visor.

Preferably a trans neon green one.

I prefer 4897 that released the same year.

I have _one_ of those tricycles, from 3648 (which I can't even remember why I own). And I really wish they'd made a full one in brown.

@Norikins:
Not me!

He better be careful where he puts his feet.

Tell me what huh?"

From the set's database page: "LEGO has confirmed that this set was never produced however many people have replicated the set by using the instruction sheet and parts list available on-line."

He looks like he's enjoying motoring that thing around just a little too much

Great, now I can't unsee it.

I have this - although I'm not really sure how I got it. I think it was a freebie for a larger Lego purchase some years ago...

I have never seen real life police use a quad, but maybe it's a thing somewhere? It bears a lot of similarities to 6518, which seems a bit weird, given how many years the 2 are apart.

At least 90% of cops worldwide disagree ;-)

It misses clips on the back, and the steering wheel is put in a more forward position.
But I guess there's only so many ways you can build a quad with bullbar on the back.

He'll secretly put some bricks on your floor.....corporal punishment!

No handcuffs? Did he forget to bring them?

Actually…this was released the year cops first got handcuffs. From 2006-2007, only Batman had the resources to acquire them.

I'm late with this observation, but the black accent color is interesting. In 2008 the accent color for City Police switched from black/greeb to blue/blue, so technically this is an outdated color scheme!
