Forest Police is the LEGO City I was first introduced to

By in United States,

This was one of my first sets. I have no memory of the car but I remember using the pieces of the barricade for various weapons and such.

Not a bear in sight! The Bear Patrol must be working like a charm!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this was the first City police car (besides SUVs) to accommodate for two minifigs.

Sure, if the cop sits on the perp’s lap.

No, I have this, both minifigs can comfortably sit in the interior.

I was mildly disappointed, upon looking at this set's inventory, to discover that the sign isn't a printed piece.

Is that the same crook from 2005?

Also for a moment Ifelt like this was connected to the Lego City Undercover game, but that's a different one.

In fact, this was the last time that crook appeared in any LEGO City set. :(

EDIT:
Strange, all of a sudden my IP detects me being in Sweden rather than Latvia. @Huw is there a way to change this back to normal?

By in Netherlands,

At one point I had two of these for sale. I must say that it's functionally an improvement on the 2005 version (it was high time for a new one too. Can you imagine THAT happening with City!?). The terrain build is more than you get from a LOT of the very vehicle-centric City theme. So that's nice.

The roof part was brand new at the time and specifically allows a stretched interior so they can sit in tandem. Is it realistic to sit like that? Of course not. But it offers options for play.

'A broken traffic light? Who say my duties must end just because class is over?
This looks a like a job for.... HALL MONITOR!'

*SpongeBob proceeds to cause 60+ car pileup while blissfully unaware of what he's doing*

(It's a different scene from what MCLegoboy was referencing, but the same episode.)

We were offered one of two gift items one time— the Man of Steel Zod Battle and this. I made the right choice getting the former tbh.

Recidivism? In LEGOLAND? Eh, they do have the prison stripes tattooed right onto their skin.

The first introduction of the mounty hat. It's a shame it has only been released in tan and dark tan. I would love to see it in more colors.
