By in New Zealand,

Microfighters are 10 years old. We need some more of them, they are so fun!

By in Finland,

Knock off the superstructure and stick a Classic in the seat and this is a pretty good remake of 885.

By in United States,

I had no idea that this line is already 10 years old!

The TIE Dagger always deserves to be ridiculed

By in Australia,

Remember when we used to get six microfighters a year, and they were about ten bucks each?

It's a fun one, I'm glad I have it.

Lego can't do much about inflation, but they can do something about how many Microfighters they release a year, and I wish that they'd adjust that number up.

By in Netherlands,

While I think MicroFighters are fine, I wish they’d just release small canon builds at €/$ 10 like they did way back. Battle pack builds can be hit or miss and non-canonical so the only proper entry level sets of SW are at about €/$ 30 which is strange.

Definitely agree.
When they first arrived, I was sceptical about the concept (especially given they replaced Planets), but over the years they really grew up on me.

By in United Kingdom,

I’m trying to imagine how small a Tantive IV would be to match this scale. It would have to be like only a single cone

Best UCS set ever!

If someone who bought all the Microfighters that came out had decided to save instead, they would be $20 short of Barad-Dur.

I like the way there is space for the commander to stand in as if he has gone to a fancy dress party or running a marathon.

By in United States,

Of the initial six released, this Microfighter is the weakest. There's a number of small gaps, and a lot of stuff overhaning that feels like it should have been flush up against the slopes making up the body. It also felt a bit unfair to have an X-Wing vs. a Star Destroyer when you look at the pairings. I wouldn't have wanted two TIE Fighters, but maybe had the Star Destroyer been paired with the Millennium Falcon, that would be a bit more of a fair fight, even though there's still a wild difference in scale. The Star Destroyer is also the largest ship that's been shrunk down for the Microfighters, and I don't know, it feels weird to see. Even small, it should probably still be bigger and retain some of the angles instead of just a flat wedge. The sets not bad, it's just okay in regards to the other Microfighters from Series 1.

The bridge is still more accurate than 4492

I like this one. The grayness of it is offset with the black clothed minifig, which actually helps its look!

Yeah, but they'd be out all those cool little ship (and the minifigs that came with them) and 10333 requires one large area for display. A Microfighter collection can be displayed in small areas all over your living space. Besides, Barad-dur has zero swooshability.

It does if you rebuild it into a spaceship. A macrofighter!
Tho I would rather have 10333 any day.

I am of two minds on this:
1)
Imperial Accountant: "Well, in order to secure funding for the SECOND 'Death Star'...budgetary cuts had to be made..." (and he was neeeever heard from again...:))
or
2)
I picture when this...'thing' moves; it's accompanied the "Star Wars" theme, but played through a Wurlitzer...and that's not a bad thing.:D

What do you mean? It has plenty of swooshability…in a strictly downward direction. It’s the sudden stop at the end that it has problems with.

By in New Zealand,

My recolour of this microfighter was the monsters from the first year of Atlantis. (I went with an orange highlight). I did recently have the thought to make one for Santa in green like a Christmas Tree.
