The old school...before it grew into one of the most spectacular and advanced police forces the world has ever known!

For over a thousand generations, the Legoland Police were the guardians of peace and justice in the old Town... before the dark times... before the empire.

Officer 4 (via bullhorn/megaphone): "Use of unnecessary violence in the apprehension of the Blues Brothers HAS been approved."
or...
"All right, you scumballs. You have a 30 minutes to hit the showers and get to class. Let's go! Move it! Move it! Move it! Pick it up! Pick it up! Pick it up..." (I'll leave the last 'bit' off...:D)

Lego City Policemen ... or a synchronised dance troop in police uniforms?

By in United States,

I don't know why I find that picture humorous. Judging by the other comments above, I guess I wasn't the only one!

Beatdown battlepack.

By in Turkey,

Nice. I've never understood the need for 4 policemen as a set. Years later, after forming a town of my own, I got it... Same goes for firemen.

By in United Kingdom,

Now you too can recreate the scene where Mahoney puts boot polish on Lt Harris's megaphone.

The rightmost one is a traitor. The rest aren't noticing he's about to blast them all...

Btw, I love how even in a set like this the paddle is red, an uncommon color now.

By in Germany,

Why is one of them holding up a red frying pan?

"So what made you want to become a policeman?"
- "Officer."

As unemployment began to hit Lego City’s construction sector, a group of resourceful minifigures made other plans, but would they really go the full monty?

What a ridiculous suggestion! Police... and space? Surely not. Keep your stupid ideas to yourself.

No, he's lost lost his motorcycle. "This is the third time this week, Mulhaney!"

The uniforms and attempt at synchronized dancing reminds me of the Full Monty, where a paddle will hide any final embarrassment.

"Where are your cowcatchers and side plates?" the police officer asked Thomas
"But I don't catch cows!" replied Thomas, innocently
"Don't be funny" snapped the policeman
Then he pointed at Thomas and said
"All engines passing along public roads must have their wheels covered to prevent animals and people from being dragged under. You do not, so you are dangerous."
"Rubbish!" replied Thomas' driver. "We've been going along here for years and never had an accident."
"That makes it worse!" said the policeman. He then wrote REGULAR LAW BREAKER in his notebook.

Does "ACAB" count as hate speech in these forums? Asking for a friend. (Somebody on this site either has to be or is related to somebody in law enforcement...)

I’m going to leave it to someone else to make the obvious Muppets comparison.
