By in New Zealand,

That retired mould for the dog does not go well with the newer pig mould.

Eventually, Farmer John began to suspect that there was something just a little bit off with the "breeding pair" he'd been sold.

THIS is a proper impulse set.

Is this pig a calmer tan color, while the modern one is brighter pink? I prefer this one I think.

This is in my list of "to do" sets. Of course I'll improve upon it with ideas from 7684

I thought Bork was at Swedish Chef's.

Absolutely, fantastic little set, and the farmer is SO enthusiastic, too!

I can only assume that gleeful grins at seeing how much his future bacon is fattening up

This little set right here is one of my favourites.

Yet we still use old parrot mold...

I understand why we moved away from them, but there’s an undeniable charm to these old animal moulds. I like how the Killer Croc in TLBM uses the old croc head.

Mmmmm…the time minifigures learned of bacon

To think a CMF nowadays costs more.

Yes I've never understood why they seem to have moved to using bright pink for the pigs and piglets rathan than this "light nougat". I had to grab some bootleg piglets when I saw them in light nougat rather than official pink.

By in Netherlands,

It's such a cute set. The build is a bit dimunitive (even for the pricepoint) but having two animalscwith it is quite nice!

By in Turkey,

Wow, just checked the price 4 dollars for this is pretty good. You get 2 animal mold and a minifig. Dog is outdated but I am sure people can find some use for it

I like little sets like this. Bring a few together and they breathe life into any little town.

Fun fact: pigs are just as prone to sunburn as humans, depending largely on the melanin content of the skin. So this could be the healthy pig, and the bright-pink one the one that’s on the verge of blisters and peeling skin. Also, I think I used a single bright-pink one for PB, from the League of Super-Pets.

Wait, that's not Old McDonald... Where's his barn?

Great little set! Still have mine in the polybag. Remember when Toys R Us was still around and finding this set there. I also have the larger pig farm. I was fresh out of my dark ages and found the new sets that Lego was coming out with amazing! Good to see this one posted.

I've always said that there's a Weird Al song for everything so...
"As I walk through the valley where I harvest my grain..."

Mine all came in boxes from Toys R Us in Tennessee.

Yup, all of these little impulse sets from that timeframe were boxes, and somehow cheaper than they would have been if they'd shipped as polybags that pack down into a fraction of the space required to ship these.
