Class seems a bit empty...
I thought it said “Emmett’s karate class” for a second, and thought, I don’t remember that set from the Lego movie.
Lil' sis is NOT a ninjago
Friendjago has always been here, you just failed to see it!
Cato, I'm home!
Beware of Japanese waitress bearing fortune cookies.
Aaaaarrgh!
I was going to say something about how that bonsai is oversized, but then I remembered that, oh right, it's Lego. Lego and Transformers have never been consistent as far as scale goes.
This was my first Friends set. I still really like it!
One of the weird things about the reboot is that none of the characters seem to be into sports (sans skateboarding). I never cared for the vast majority of sporty Friends sets, but when they did things like this, or swimming, I thought it was really cool. I'd like to see hobbies like this come back and get a bit more expansion.
I remember my sister wanting this set, but she never got around to getting it; there were too many other good Friends sets out at the time (41015 came out that year, for instance).
Ah, yes, if I learned anything from Karate Kid 3, it's that the most important lesson you can learn to master karate is how to trim bonsai. Also some garbage about how there are _real_ bonsai and cultivated bonsai (the former don't exist), and how you can turn a Charlie Brown Christmas tree into the Miyago-do logo in just a few minutes.

Eh, it's totally possible to make a better, and smaller, bonsai.
@Berrus_Brickus:
All I know is that one of them seems to be into video games, and the most sporty one is the one who was born with only one hand. I know she's in a set that involves archery. I get the impression that they just don't have the characters as rigidly defined by their interests. One of the big distinctions I've noticed is that OG Friends used to have a _lot_ of solo sets, where nuFriends has a lot of paired characters.

Rex Dangervest can add "Karate Master" to his long list of epic jobs.
This bonsai tree > the Botanical Collection bonsai tree

Well not yet, that’s what the class is for!
When the theme came out this was the set I liked the most. It's different and more mundane than ninjago. And it featured some of the elements in this small set, such as the unprinted Kendo mask.

Emma is the Master and as such also knows she is but the pupil.

It's a correspondence course.

That's a matter of opinion, but everybody can agree that this one is certainly the easier build!

It's worth tracking down. I picked it up years ago and was pleasantly surprised.
How many Friends sets come with a sword?
That's a mark in its favour, for sure.

41755 has one that would seem to be a prop replica or something similar.
