I think there might be too many pixels in that image. I can see the details a little too well.

Is there really not a better quality image for this set?

Such a classic City set.

Oh I picked this one up! I remember I got it mainly for the bus, but I ended up liking the way the pizza shop looked in my little town at the time.

This has such horrible picture quality for a set from 2013

Maybe someone who views this article will be able to contribute one!

I remember coveting this, but things have moved on a bit since haven’t they - I can think of two better buses!

I bought two and combined them to make a complete pizza shop. :o)

This is a re-release of 7641 from 2009. I'm not sure what the circumstances were around the re-release; I only know about it from seeing this in the Brickset database.

I had the one listed as 7641, this looks like a remake possibly. 7641 was the first City set me and my brother got for Christmas and it started a life filled with LEGO addictions.

By in Australia,

I got this as a surprise Christmas present back in 2009 (my mum really liked the look of it), and it never really caught on with me as a kid. It fell into the part bins soon enough. It was only until I started to get back into LEGO that I really began to appreciate it more: I mean it's technically its own miniature city!

I've lost a few parts to it in recent years, but I see some of its stickered elements every now and then. I just don't have the motivation to order replacements to complete it.

I had the 2009 version of this set. I can't remember why but I let go of it. It has to be the bus, it was 6 stud and didn't fit with my town. It was a nice set though.

The 2009 original is top 5 most iconic Lego sets for me growing up. I still remember when my dad said I could get it and how happy I was.

Thanks for this. I was convinced I had this set but can't seem to find it in my toy collection database or in Brickset!

Just compared the box picture and it looks identical to my 7641 box.

Which also gives us a much better picture that you’d think could just be reused

It shows the wrong set number on the box.

The 2009 version was a classic City set, one of the best of its time. Because it actually had a residential building! I might be mistaken but I believe this was the first non-public service building in all of City. The years before it was police stations, fire stations, a train station, an airport and in that year a garage and a 'shop' that was empty because it was being built on a construction site.

But here, finally; a pizzeria and a bike shop. And a bus stop of course. I recall being so excited for the pizzeria alone!

Okay except the main picture isn’t of a box and doesn’t have a set number displayed anywhere sooooo…

By in Netherlands,

That is a fine bus, or as Kai would call it, a shopping-trolley.

I had this set. It's good, lots of playability, and adds something to LEGO city other than fire station or police station. My only gripe is that the side buildings are a bit small compared to the pizza shop and the bus.
