Well I imagine what's broken with the lift is down below in the base, so good luck fixing it while you're stuck up in the bucket.

That's... not going to lift you very far, fella.

Actually, you know what? Maybe he's trying to repair the logo.

By in Turkey,

This mini crane became a modern touch for my old town. Fits anywhere, fixes anything. Cloned it, of course.

By in Canada,

Got one; and if memory serves, it was one of the first 'polys' I ever got back before they became more 'plentiful' in my area.

I’m glad to see all of the great work Walter White is doing around town.

I guess he’s trying to tighten the dot in the i of City or something

By in Jersey,

These City polybags are great little sets and compare very favourably in terms of piece count/value for money to the early Town sets such as 607, ok you don’t get a box but so what. My son had this one amongst his first few Lego sets as an introduction to building which helped a lot with developing his fine motor skills.

By in Netherlands,

This guy is moving up in the world!

Looks like the lift has a mind of its own and wants to take over the world, one mini-fig at a time.

Huh, a City set that I didn't even know existed!

By in United States,

This is probably a lot safer than having Benny hoist Emmet on a 40' pole to work on a 5G tower with a jackhammer, but not nearly as amusing.

A nice polybag IMHO. Cherry pickers aren't done nearly enough and one this size might be a bit simple and small, but it would get the job done for certain tasks so it's still a welcome addition to any city scene. And it's not an ATV or miniature car for once, so that's a plus in my book!

...this is something on your layouts, isn't it? There's zero context for what you're describing.

This minifigure's head always looked like my friend's dad Brad to me.

When https://brickset.com/parts/design-35459 was RPotD (https://brickset.com/article/74348), he mentioned ordering fifty of them to build two cell towers, so that's probably it.

This size of machine would be useful in an indoors environment with max 2-story ceiling, so stuff like this really does exist in real life. Add a telescoping boom and you could go up to three stories.

Yes, sometimes. 5G cellular towers in my area have a triangular rack with narrow vertical white panels mounted on each face, so they are the most distinctive generation of cellular towers. I made two with a single rack, one with a double rack, and one tree that is 100%, absolutely not a cellular tower, no matter what you think you see in its dingy green foliage. And yeah, back when I started working on these, I still put out members of the TLM cast fairly often, and I figured out an easy way to make Benny float, so I grabbed the longest piece of white flex-tube I had, clipped it in Benny’s hands so it’s raised nearly vertical (Benny is floating at a 45° tilt), and perched Emmet at the top with one hand on the pole, one foot braced against it, a jackhammer outstretched in one hand (it was the least appropriate tool I could quickly come up with for doing cellular tower repair), and his “This doesn’t look right” face showing. One of these days I really need to brickbuild a jackhammer that stands out more than the dark-bley one he’s holding, though, because I’ve noticed an issue when I put them out with one of the towers. Lots of people recognize the two characters, but very few actually comment on the use of a jackhammer.

Why not a sword or battleaxe?

Then it just looks like he’s trying to kill it.

Yeah, there's a balance to this sort of thing. It has to still look like he's trying to repair it, or it stops being funny weird and starts being just weird weird.

A pitchfork is a tool, but is the stereotypical weapon of medieval mobs, so that one would be open to the viewer's interpretation too, I suppose.
