Hey guys, look, it's Dr. Doom!

It looks like he's being dragged up not flying up.

Easily the best CCBS Superheroes figure, which is unsurprising given that Iron Man's armor lends itself particularly well to being depicted by it

Only one of those Super Hero figures that kind of worked. It's ugly, but the armour works well enough.

While not a decent set, it tickles my brain (positive) to see preexisting parts reused in a licensed context.

Works both as a constraction version of Iron Man and as a mech that normal minifig Iron Man might be driving around

"Hero Factory 2.0"

Given the way Iron Man suits are named, I think you mean "Hero Factory Mark II."

I still have it!! One of the first buildable figures. Cool.

What are the chances we get a Dr. Doom buildable figure (in the new style, of course) this year or next?

By in Netherlands,

Iron man was by far the best suited for the CCBS style. However, this was early CCBS, in fact from only the second year of the system's life, and it shows. There's no excuse for the shell-less short bone lower arms outside of the figure's budget and maybe scale, and the huge torso-as-shoulderpad design on the upper arms barely read as anything a familiar Iron Man armor would look like. But the helmet works, as does the blaster.

These figures walked so the Star Wars CCBS figures could run.

Btw, these didn't release in the Netherlands so I saw one exactly once. It was in Hamley's during my trip to London. The box was a bit of an oddity as the Hero Favtory sets had moved to bags after using canisters. Hero Factory did use boxes for the villains and large sets the previous year, so the packaging read as a larger, more important set than usual.

@Binnekamp:
I was more put off by the backless backs.
