I will NEVER forgive them for not giving Lavertus his Shadowind helmet

I thought for sure Huwbot would pick a Jack Stone set just for peak irony.

Did anyone else find the Speedorz gimmick to almost be distracting, when it came to Chima? You had all these really cool minifigures (I collected as many of the different animal tribes as I could), you had a bunch of sets that were nifty as all get out, but Lego's focus seemed to be on the collectable gimmick of the speeder sets? (most of which wound up in clearance bins and shops couldn't even give them away)

It always felt to me like, they had a great theme with a great idea, but all the focus was on the gimmick that wasn't even that popular. Like they were missing the forest because there were so many pretty trees in the way.

Yesterday, I predicted Clikits, and you might think that that didn't come to pass, but look at the Speedorz on the left's tail. I was right, at least in spirit.

They cooked with that Scolder minifig.

I wish we had a Chima collectible minifigure series, just for the heck of it. I'm sure it has enough variety for a 16 figure set. We had a monsters series before. So, why not?

By in United Kingdom,

Can’t help but notice there doesn’t seem to be any way of steering or controlling those Speedorz; I’m sure normally they have handlebars of some kind. Guess our duelling duo here have to just hold on and hope

Same. I *also* wish Scolder was more widely available, because he’s primed to be the generic scorpion army-builder yet only ever came in this set??

I didn't know there was a Predator-like minifig head! Gotta order me one of those.

Legends of Chima is better than Ninjago. There, I said it.

Minifigure-wise, I'ld say you're correct.

That doesn't sound appetizing at *all.*

You mean the very Classic Space rocket thruster?

Yeah, I found this set new at Walmart on clearance in like 2018, which was multiple years after the release. This was a fun set to play with though.

No, sorry, I didn't look closely enough at the image and didn't even realize that what I waas looking at wasn't a Speedorz. I didn't even see the actual Speedorz on the left, I meant the target thing in the middle with all the trans bits.
