Random set of the day: Jungle Boat

Today's random set is 30115 Jungle Boat, released during 2014. It's one of 46 Friends sets produced that year. It contains 31 pieces and 1 minifig, and its retail price was US$4.99, which equates to about US$7 in today's money.
It's owned by 1,358 Brickset members. If you want to add it to your collection you should find it for sale at Brick Owl, BrickLink, where new ones sell for around $5.90, or eBay.

Given what happened today, I was hoping that at least one of today's randoms would be space-related. 7468 would have been perfect for RSotD.
The boat kind of looks a bit like an airboat, but the water also kind of implies that these are rapids, and Olivia here is in the jungle alone. I know it's just a polybag and I shouldn't be overthinking it, but Olivia, you are insane.

She’s not wearing a helmet, she’s not strapped in, she’s operating the thing with one hand, she’s not paying attention to where she’s going (though, to be fair, frog), and that radio is attached to the boat and not the operator. Remind me, did Olivia make it to Phase 2 of this franchise?

She has absolutely locked eyes with that frog; there is going to be some Freaky Friday-style body switcharoo, making use of what looks to be pearl gold CB radio.

The Friends were obviously filthy rich, considering all the exotic locales they visited, and the many, many, many vehicles they own. When you're that rich, idiotic thrill-seeking is nothing to you. Olivia's other friends were probably visiting the Titanic in a carbon-fiber submersible or something. One must keep up appearances.

Olivia is a courageous, independent young woman, wearing tank top and flip flops (Yes, no helmet) while swooshing through rapids with one hand, I'm sure she is ok...
Should that actual child be allowed to operate that vehicle like that?

She did make it to phase 2, but her appearance was noticeably different. She must have fallen into an alternate dimension during one of her daredevil escapades...
There were 4 polybags, the other 3 containing unique versions of the Friends, and are a great way to populate the larger sets like the Juice Bar 41035.
Never knew they made the walkie talkie in anything other than black....interesting....
So many random recolors in Friends sets.

The original version came in red and light-bley. This version came in dark-grey, dark-bley, this color, and green. And the newest version also came in red and light-bley.
