Today's random set is 70137 Bat Strike, released during 2014. It's one of 62 Legends of Chima sets produced that year. It contains 101 pieces and 1 minifig, and its retail price was US$12.99 / £9.99, which equates to about US$18 / £14 in today's money.

It's owned by 1,011 Brickset members. If you want to add it to your collection you should find it for sale at Brick Owl, BrickLink, where new ones sell for around $18.20, or eBay.

When I saw this, my first thought was, "Huh, I was unaware or had completely forgotten that Chima had a Bat tribe."

It is quite possible they survived into the future though. The "mice" of Fabuland may be their wingless descendants, bred to be completely compliant, so Cathy Cat can catch them for kitty confections.

Like apparently 90% of the people commenting I absolutely thought this was a Batman set before I realised it was Chima. Can you blame me though, that moody git gets everywhere!
