Is this guy just early for the flight?

I always liked the way they did the engines. I didn't think that that gear was still in use, but the part entry (https://brickset.com/parts/4640536/gear-wheel-z16), but the part entry says "Produced
2007 - 2026." I guess I just haven't been paying attention, especially since I have four sets from this decade that use it: 42122, 42128, 42148 , and 71374!

Accurate title. A single passenger for this plane.

A very good plane for a very good price. I keep meaning to get myself this set but I haven't actually done it yet.

Pish tosh. That plane can fit at least _four_ passengers. Five if they get super cozy.

The “passenger” and the driver of the ground vehicle are clearly in league, what with their coordinated matching smug grins.

Maybe that one guy bought all the seats, that’s why he’s grinning so broadly

By in Netherlands,

Perhaps Huwbot took a dip in the leaks and saw there is a new Passenger Jet approaching: 60492

A 4+ set in the City line. With thanks to Brick Clicker on YouTube.

Apparently it seats six and the pilot! (See other images.)

They're still in use for treads and chains, the new style gears won't work with those.

By in Turkey,

This has a nice size to it. Larger ones, well, feels unnecessarily large.

Well, that's just a standard 16T gear, so it's still used for lots of things other than tracks, though it does seem that Lego uses other gears more often these days.

I think the original poster was referring to a mold change. I think it was 2011 that they changed the mold for the 16T gear to a stronger design, so this would be one of the last sets with the old design. Apparently the different molds are lumped together on Bricklink, though?

Right, but that one pales in comparison to this one from 2010. I think to keep costs down, many Lego sets are getting smaller and smaller. I’d much rather have the 2010 version.

By in Netherlands,

The greatest value plane City did. Most buildable one too

By in United States,

The white zone is for immediate loading and unloading of passengers only. There is no stopping in the red zone.

Don't you tell me which zone is for loading, and which zone is for stopping!

I just want to tell you both good luck. We're all counting on you.

It's an entirely different kind of flying, altogether!

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit amphetamines.
