That's a lot of detail in such a small set; well done designer!

By in United States,

I loved these little 3-in-1 sets that came in canisters.

I think my brother had this one. Real cute

By in United Kingdom,

Those alt models are pretty good too, occasionally they feel like a bit of an afterthought

Why is there a red light on the vertical stabilizer? Only white lights should be on the centerline. Red should only be on the forward port side, and green on the forward starboard.

By in Netherlands,

This was a nice little set from before they started becoming packaged in a box, which was before they stopped doing 5,- euro sets at all with... well, pretty much every theme. We now only have 10,- sets and polybags, which may or may not be available locally.

The metallic silver studs are a surrisingly nice inclusion, and all three models are nicely competent.

We need more cannister sets again. Those were so nice for transporting Lego sets to friends.

It's a brake light.

I just watched a video yesterday about a remote Russian airport that ended up with a 737 carrying 100 passengers, and four diverted MiGs, all bunched up in the turnaround at the far end of the runway because the MiGs were coming in on fumes (the first two to land flamed out shortly after pulling in behind the 737). So I could see situations where that would be beneficial.

Let's see... altitude: 21,000 feet. Speed: 520 knots. Level flight. Course: zero-niner-zero. Trim and mixture: wash, soak, rinse, spin.

My brother and I got this as a kid, and last month he came back home after living overseas. He saw the box for it and immediately ran to my spare parts collection to rebuild it. Took it back with him. Something for him to remember me by :)

Surely you must be joking!

By in Brazil,

That’s actually a very impressive 212th plane. It’s a lot more detailed than you’d expect for so few parts.

I'm not joking, and please call me Dr. Rumack.
