Really amazing face print. Can’t believe it took this long to get a proper Emperor Garmadon face. Also, this is one of my favorite characters ever, so yeah, love this minifigure and really want this set.

Should be amazing; it's his only exclusive part.
If anyone speaks badly of his figure he'll have the Serpentine throw you "OVER THE SIDE!!!"
So used to seeing versions that use the more traditional horns on his helmet, a version using the original bone is nostalgic

What’s wrong with the Resting Brick Face on his original minifig?
It's a bit strange to see him in the plastic with something else than a scowl or grin. But it's great to see that it now exists.
For once he is not grinning deviously.
Oh hey, it's Dark Father.
Garmadon, Garmadon!, GARMADON!
(Yes I know the movie was awful, but this was too good a chance to not throw that out there.)
Looks like a Lepin Darth Vader.

His 2011 minifigure’s face is barely visible because of the metallic printing. The original Emperor Garmadon minifigure reused the much more comical movie face."

I don't consider it awful, but I do consider it the weakest of the four.

Agreed. It's the Leonardo of LEGO-movies.

Better than some of Dragons Rising. No I don't hate it entirely, but it does not compare to the original series.
Just sayin'.

Both are very similar archetypes, both styles most likely inspired by Samurai Kabuto, so it makes sense.
