Random figure of the day: col159

Today's random figure is col159 Decorator, Series 10, a Collectible Minifigures figure that came in one set, 710015 Decorator, released during 2013.
Our members collectively own a total of 29,578 of them. If you'd like to buy one you should find it for sale at Brick Owl or BrickLink, where new ones sell for around $4.50.

Decorator? I'd call this a painter, and someone who coordinates throw pillows with drapes as a decorator.
A shame Lego apparently completely forgot about that cap. I would have loved to see it in more colours too.
I got a few of this guy to use his bucket handles for Cybermen. I think I repurposed one of the paint roller accessories as part of a flamethrower, but for the most part the rest of the figure was not particularly versatile.
If you have a modular building collection on display, it’s nice to populate the buildings with these occupational mini-figures from the collectible series.

Also a shame that his bucket was never used again. Just look at how many uses (including as something other than a bucket) the standard bucket piece has gotten!

That other bucket is likely the reason why this one was never used again, since they would have had to cut a new mold to get this one into retail sets.
I mostly feel the bag to get the figs I want (well, used to), but sometimes I roll the dice. This is how I got this guy. Since I don't need it, it's still in the bag.
Why do they always make painter or as Lego calls this one 'decorator' minifigs so detailed. They always look so good.
I only have one of this guy...which is a shame...I mean: two Bumblebee Girls, as well as two Warrior Women...in retrospect; I should have gotten at least one more of this one, but we all know 'hindsight'...:)

A ‘decorator’ with paint on his face is a rookie. This is an insult to all professional decorators.
