How can the helmet be so scuffed up via the prints, but then the torso be left so clean? That's a bit weird, right?

From the photographs of the physical model I can see online, the swirly imperfections in the silver plastic actually complement the printed scuffmarks, if unintentionally.

Phasmathetic.

She wields a plased phasma rifle in the 40-watt range.

Phasma’s far from my favorite Star Wars character, but I always thought this was a pretty cool-looking buildable figure.

By in Turkey,

Great armor design but the character was used poorly in the movies. They literally pulled a Fett on Phasma. As for the set, I liked the buildable figures. This one is among my favorites.

By in New Zealand,

I reckon she could work as an large buildable figure similar to that 76344 Iron Man one, seeing as buildable figures are the only thing Lego does these days.

By in United States,

I own this one! I don’t usually own the weird non-sequitur RSODs, but I own this one!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

RSotD going to be using her more effectively and prominently than the actual films ever did

I reckon she’s a fan of the headbutt, hence the helmet being the only part to exhibit wear.

By in Netherlands,

I'm not sure Gwendoline Christie even needs a gun, this lady has the strength of a Wookie and I'm kind of here for it. Then again, I've barely seen enough of SW to know that even Chewbacca had a weird gun-bow, so I guess that's fair enough.

Still, the only reason I can imagine for the Empire to not use Christie as the template for their clone-army was that Palpatine or whomever probably hadn't yet seen the Game of Thrones adaption, so long ago and far away.

By in Australia,

She's such a wasted character. It's really annoying to see all the interesting characters from TFA getting screwed over in TLJ to "subvert expectations".

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

I managed to score this set at RRP while it was officially retired, I was lucky enough to find a leftover, I guess.

Let's not forget that this character — whose potential admittedly was wasted just like so many other elements by Rian 'expectations subverter' Johnson — escaped from a trash compactor, imitating another character with a shiny helmet: the Shredder himself!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Say what you will about the character, but this figure is really cool. It's the cape that ties it together.

Gravatar
By in France,

But for the legs, which I have always seen as too thin, this one is almost perfect to me.

To be fair, her big moment in TFA was getting thrown into a trash compactor.

You must not have seen very much of Star Wars if you think that she could have been a template for the clone army. The clone army was created at least two generations before she was born. Even i

phasma isnt a mandolorian (at least im pretty sure) so why did she otfit herself in beskar

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Interesting! A whole model with newly molded silver parts - yet, for a UCS Mando Starfighter, we have to get numb grey!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Funny how the minifig price of the character is comparable!

There's a metaphor here somewhere for sticking your head in all the wrong places.

Most of what I know from Star Wars, I learned from Yoda and Vader's guest-appearances in Soul Calibur, and that's probably more than enough already.

I just rebuilt this one while bagging and boxing up my son’s Star Wars sets now that he’s moved out of the house.

It's not beskar — it's chromium, salvaged from one of Palpatine's Naboo yachts.

That’s not chrome silver. It’s LEGO’s regular flat silver.

Yeah, that metal is supposed to be reclaimed from the hull of a Star Destroyer.

Of course, Imperials of Imperial adjacents aren’t averse to wearing beskar armor. The only “culture” they respect is their own.

Meanwhile, some folks prefer their armour a little bit more iron-y.

Beskar ia just the material, like steel on Earth. As long as you don’t crib the look of Mandalorian armor, I don’t think anyone can claim cultural appropriation. The original Clonetroopers, of course, get a pass because they were cloned from Jango.
