2016 Set Sightings - Update #1

Set sighting season is here once again and we have received reports of a variety of sets appearing in stores across the world. It is therefore about time that we summarise what we know so far in the hope that you will be able to find what you are looking for in your local area and help others to do the same!
As ever, availability will be patchy and we invite you to let us know if you find any 2016 sets in your local area via the contact form at the bottom of the page or in the comments below.
Read on for a full list of where 2016 sets have been spotted so far...
United Kingdom:
- Several of the smaller Star Wars sets have been found in supermarkets including Sainsbury's, Tesco and ASDA as well as branches of Smyths, Toymaster and a few independent toy retailers.
- The second wave of Buildable Figures has appeared in scattered Toymaster stores as well as a few branches of Sainsbury's and Tesco, although many supermarkets are unable to sell the sets despite their presence on the shelves.
- Some Toymaster stores have released several Friends and City sets as well. I can confirm that this is the case in Bury St. Edmunds.
- The second wave of Buildable Figures is available in Forbidden Planet on Shaftesbury Avenue, London.
- Several new Star Wars sets are now available in LEGO Stores.
Continental Europe:
- Many sets seem to be available already in a variety of toy retailers across Germany.
- Almost all of the 2016 Star Wars sets are available from toysrus.de.
North America:
- Several Technic, City, Disney Princess and Creator are available from LEGO S@H, in LEGO Stores and in a number of other retailers.
- A seemingly random scattering of other 2016 sets have appeared in Target stores across the US. These include 70313 Moltor's Lava Smasher, 70314 Beast Master's Chaos Chariot, 70315 Clay's Rumble Blade, 70324 Merlok's Library 2.0, 76048 Iron Skull Sub Attack, 76049 Avenjet Space Mission, 76044 Clash of Heroes and 76045 Kryptonite Interception.
Australia:
- Nothing so far that we know of.

I was just at my local Target (League City Texas) and can confirm they had some Merlock's Library 2.0 and Iron Skull Sub Attack in stock.
I can confirm that I know an independent toy shop that has at least both the Force Awakens battle packs and micro fighters without any limitations on actually selling them (I phoned and will go there soon, they might have more).
However, a Tesco store in Bournemouth had very patchy availability - although the same products I've just mentioned were all there on the shelves, they couldn't sell the First Order battle pack or the new X wing micro fighter. And yet they could sell me the Resistance battle pack and snowspeeder micro fighter. Weird.
I'm surprised some of the Batman vs Superman ones are out already! I thought they would wait until closer to the movie premiere-like the Civil War ones undoubtedly will. I will check my local Target tomorrow and post if I find any other sets!
Star Wars battle packs, new Disney Princess sets, DC & Marvel sets spotted in Toronto at Mastermind Toys.
@RavelLee26 - Mastermind (in Canada) does have the small $15 Batman vs Superman set.
I haven't been to TRU or Mastermind in a LONG while. Will defenitley go on Boxing Day!
The ferry has appeared at Toys R Us. Found for $29.99.

Australia: buildable figures of Capt Phasma and Kylo Ren available at Toyworld, Southport in Queensland, for $39.99 each.
I just bought myself a Phasma figure!
Here in Ireland these 4 Star Wars sets https://flic.kr/p/CgRkXL have been available since early this week in Smyths, online with Littlewoods (sets €10 & €15) and in Argos (€13 & €18) none in Tesco or Toysrus so far.
Anyone in Canada find 76045 Kryptonite Interception?
SW Jedi Interceptor, Resistance and Galactic Empire battle packs and Hoth Attack, as well as some City-stuff seen in BR-Lelut in Finland

Argos have all six of the second wave of Star Wars buildable figures. Two battle packs and two Microfighter packs also available
Old news, but its not specially mentioned here. In the UK Asda are selling two battle packs and the new Xwing Microfighter, labelled Hero and the Snowspeeder labelled Villian. The news is they are £8 for the microfighters so 2016 sets discounted in 2015 thats a good start to 2016 budgets
Rumble Blade and Library successfully obtained at Factoria, WA Target.
UK: The Entertainer in Woking has many of the new city including the police and fire stations, prison island, suv and camper, plus many more. Didn't try buying but they are all priced. No Creator dog though :(
Sweden: All the Star Wars Battle Backs, Droid Escape, Hoth Attack, Carbon Freeze Chamber, Obi-wan's Interceptor available at Br.se and Webhallen.se as of yesterday. Hoth Attack is mine now. :)
Debenhams in Manchester, U.K. had all the new Force Awakens buildable figures & the Force Awakens battle packs and micro fighters in on thursday just gone.
Disney Store in Oxford Street had the TFA Battlepacks and the TFA Snowspeeder Microfighter when I went yesterday.
Kaufhof at Leverkusen near Cologne as all new Technic sets an several sets from other lines. Starwars sets 75136-75138 (Droid Escape Pod, Carbon Freezing Chamber, and Hoth Atack) are discounted at € 24,99 instead of € 29,99. This is also true for their webshop at kaufhof.de
After a completely fruitless last few days where supermarkets, The Entertainer and TRU in both Greater West London and Watford areas turned up nothing, turns out Argos has stock of the TFA Buildable Figures in practically every store in the UK. Was able to reserve a Kylo Ren buildable figure for pickup in my local store via the Argos website. Will see if pickup turns out to be successful or not.
But £19.99 for four of them (Finn, Poe, Kylo, Phasma) - what a joke, especially in the case of Finn and Poe! (I can kinda accept it for Kylo and Phasma because they have fabric elements though).
Anyone seen any bionicles in the us? Would really like to pick some up
Prison island theme is available pretty much everywhere in The Netherlands.
I've seen the new Star Wars sets at Toys XL.
Great Barr asda in Birmingham had all 4 of the new star wars which i picked up on Wednesday. They were mixed in with series 2 of the microfighters which were on offer. i didn't think they'd scan in full stop, let alone as on sale, but they did. 4 days before release and £1 off each, awesome!
Local tescos normally have everything in early, but have had nothing.
In Belgium, most of the new Star Wars sets are also available at Bart Smit. I already found all sets between 75131-75138. So, still no new MicroFighters or the ones from 75139 and upwards.
Here in Switzerland I have seen most of the new SW (excepting constraction), some friends, technic, and Princess sets on the shelves in Manor and Franz Carl Weber. Bought quite a few of them as well :-)

i saw a large number of the new sets in La Grande Recré this morning. Microfighters, buildable figures, and many more. :-)
Tesco in Twickenham have the new buildable figures and the new X-Wing and First Order battle pack, but all at £1 above RRP. I didn't buy any of them, I can wait for a better price.
Belgium: Bartsmit. Some city sets. Star Wars battle packs. Driod escape. Obi one canolli spacehip (sorry star wars noob). Battle on hoth...
Locally in Nebraska, US, there was Resistance Trooper BP and First Order BP at Target. Plus the Iron Skull Sub and New Batmobile sets. Nothing else yet that I've seen.
If anyone has any 2016 DCPI numbers from Target, that would be really great if you could share
A couple of random 2016 sets appearing in Walmarts in East Canada, such as 31047 Propeller plane, 31050, Corner Deli, 60108: Fire Response Unit, 60116: Ambulance Plane and 76048: Iron Skull Atack Sub
Nothing too exciting yet, but the LEGO stocks sure are getting short with Christmas coming... There's almost nothing left in the Walmarts I've been except Star Wars sets!
All the Nexo Knights sets are available in Mid/Northern Canada along with most of the Bionicle sets. I picked a few up today, they are great!
Picked up Chaos Catapult and Knighton Battle Blaster at a Barnes & Noble in southern Minnesota. All the Targets down there had Merlok's Library 2.0 according to Brickseek.
ALERT! ALL nexo knights sets (including ultimates) have been stocked at a barnsin noble in Settlers ridge, PA! The Employee said they Just got them in today! they had 2 of each regular set, and 3 of each ultimate! IF YOU LIFE IN THAT AREA AND YOU WANT THEM, GET THEM NOW!!!!!!!
Forest Hill Shopping Centre, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia:
I didn't think we'd get any sets early but today I spotted several of the Force Awakens sets: 75117: Kylo Ren, 75118: Captain Phasma, all the new micro fighters, 75132: First Order Battle Pack and 75131: Resistance Trooper Battle Pack.
This was also at a Toy World so they must be getting sets early.
Toys UK in High Wycombe had a lot of the new Friends and Star Wars sets yesterday.
Something I discovered earlier today- you can reserve the nexo knights sets online at Barnes n nobles, so even if they aren't on shelves quite yet you can still get them.
A bunch of Toys R Us and Mastermind Toys stores have most of the 2016 sets here in Ontario, excluding new Star Wars (I've only seen the battle packs and construction figures) and DC Super Heroes.
Portugal, Vila Nova de Gaia, El Corte Ingles shopping mall. Several 2016 Star Wars sets on sale (just got myself some battlepacks and the droids' escape pod :D )
Toymaster in Chippenham,Wiltshire, have TFA buildable figures including phasms.:D
Anybody in Canada interested in the Fire Response Unit (60108) check your local Wal-Marts.
