DC Comics Super Heroes: Build Your Own Adventure book and minifig revealed
Posted by TheBrickPal,
Today may be 'Revenge of the Fifth', but we now find ourselves in another galactic world with the unveiling of LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Build Your Own Adventure on Amazon UK. It includes a John Stewart Green Lantern minifigure and a spaceship for him, as well as plenty of pages filled with model inspiration.
John Stewart is one of the takers of the Green Lantern mantle and the first African-American DC hero to appear in comics, debuting in 1971. Interesting backstory, so a nice choice for an exclusive minifigure in something such as a book!
Take a look at the description and more photos after the break...
Combines more than 50 inspirational LEGO ideas for building with enthralling LEGO DC Super Heroes story starters. Get inspired to build, then play out your own adventures using your LEGO bricks. Comes with a minifigure and bricks to build an exclusive spaceship model that features in the book.

Some of those build designs actually look pretty good. And the John Stewart fig is fantastic. Could have used dual molded legs, but it fits with the 2015 Hal Jordan design.
Looks good!
I love this I have Hal Jordan can't wait to get john stewart.
Then bring on guy Gardner, Kyle Rayner, Alan Scott and kilowog.
The line between City and Super Heroes really blurs sometimes, doesn't it? I'm looking forward to this.
Wow, that looks great!
I really want this! I gotta add a Green Lantern minifig still. I love the model ideas. Very creative, especially the bank vault and lab.
That bank vault is pretty dope.
the more lanterns the merrier!
The figure looks great. It's nice to add some variety. I don't know much about the Green Lantern Corp mythos, but I'll take another Hero for sure.
I don't like how pricey this book is compared to other books with figures though. I may pre-order just to guarantee I get it though.
The fig, build, and book all look good! I will get this one.
Anyone notice that the window on the book actually shows the bricks from the Creator Green Creative Box? :P
I'm not a big DC fan, but this is a buy for me!
Definitely going to keep my eyes peeled at Costco for this one.
Thanks for featuring this. Pre-ordered.
What does dual molded legs mean?
Dang it.
I wasn't going to worry about this set, but it comes with John Stewart? *sigh* Mind made up, then.
Now hurry up and give us Kyle Rayner, Lego.
Dangit, can't skip out on a chance to get John Stewart. One of my favorite DC characters.
JL sub?? Is there a batcave chapter?
Can anyone identify the trans=bright =green parts used for the nozzles of JSGL's jet? They don't look familiar.
@raullovessoccet
It means that the top and bottom of the legs are moulded in? different colours. It eliminates the old issue of side printing not lining up and the back of the legs being plain. It was introduced in CMF about a year or so ago.
@ninjagoyo - it is https://www.bricklink.com/catalogPG.asp?P=48169&colorID=108
The builds on this pages are amaizing, I had no idea that the builds on these book pages were so useful for AFOL.
Looks good. Would buy it just to stare at those sweet builds (and John, of course).
@Sethro3
Ohhhh! Thanks!
Only found on the newest green Ninjago Dragon, which I own but haven't built yet!
NPU here!
