Rudo Villano is my absolute favorite Adventurers character. He’s like the Reverse-Johnny Thunder!

Yay, more Adventurers! Makes my heart lift. I don't think I picked up many of the Amazon sets, but I liked the plane. Gosh, just about every subtheme of Adventurers had an awesome plane.

It'd be great if we could spend $4.50 nowadays and get more than just a minifigure.

I got the U.S. version of this set: 5902, a polybag version.

Adventurers was a really great range and allowed TLG to really diversify pieces and ideas.

It’s a shame in a way that licensed themes have taken so many Lego own brand themes away...

@Baby Yoda: Can't speak for Australia, but here in the US, polybag sets with way more parts than this cost even less than this set did. For example, https://brickset.com/sets/30426-1/Stealthy-Swamp-Airboat includes a minifigure and 38 other parts for $3.99, while https://brickset.com/sets/30425-1/CRU-Master-s-Training-Grounds contains TWO minifigures and 35 other parts for $3.99!

I assume you were more referring to the high price of the collectible minifigures, but that's an unfair comparison, considering none of the parts in this set were unique, while all collectible minifigures include unique prints, molds, and/or recolors. Not to mention that the inflation factor since 1999 is around 50%, so $4.50 back then equates to around $6.75 today, and $4 today equates to around $2.65 back in 1999!

@Aanchir None of the stores around where I live carry polybags, but once when I was on a school trip I visited Walmart and was blown away by how cheep they were!

I'd love to have that rucksack piece, although it's a bit oversized for a minifigure. Adventurers was a great theme I sadly missed out on during my dark ages.

There's just so much nostalgia associated with this theme for me!
