By in Australia,

This is one of those unremarkable but functional sets that I can't remember if I own it or not.

But ah, '95 was those lovely Spaceport sets, and the beautiful Paradisa Lighthouse.

By in Norway,

I'm not sure whether I own it or not either...

By in France,

While a lot of sets I see in this random list make me nostalgic, I believe this is an example proving how much Lego has developed its vehicle range.

Blaze Commander is probably the most glorious name for such a simple and plain fire fighter set.

I SHALL BE THE COMMANDER OF THIS BLAAAAAZE!

By in Canada,

I definitely had this set! Must have been early in my KFOL days. It's a bit peculiar in hindsight with its high ground clearance and wheel arches raised high above the wheels. Loved that guy's mustache, though!

Have this one along with many of the early 90s town sets which will soon be proudly displayed in my city once I build the table for it. @zordboy I have that Paradisa lighthouse and after 20+ years it still holds up.

This was one of my first 10 Lego sets, good times.

By in Netherlands,

I remember this one really well since it's the last set I bought in high school, in 1997 maybe. After this one, it took me almost 10 years to buy new Lego sets again. Couldn't resist those Exo-force mechs in 2006!

I think I have this set, and a parcel delivery truck that looks essentially the same but is white rather than red. Very forgettable :-)

I can't believe this was my only fire-fighting set until getting the modular Firehouse in 2010. 1995 was peak times for the Town subtheme of ResQ911. I got a lot of play out of this set, and I was glad the commander came well equipped to fight fires all on in his own, since my town lacked a fire station. It also lacked multiple-story buildings, so the lack of a ladder wasn't a problem. I do recall the random flame symbol stick on the back of the vehicle gave me some consternation in application, and later wishing a set this small didn't come with two stickers. Oh well, can't wait to introduce it to the Flame Fighters station I recently got; the commander can finally come home!
