The second Hagrid's Hut, to come out with Azkaban 'cause that's the Hermione minifig with the time travel thingy.

I always felt that the HP sets got generally better, the longer the theme ran. These mid-range ones weren't bad but weren't great, it was still an uphill curve at this point.

This was the year they first introduced skin tone to LEGO figures, the faces looked off from today’s standards but these were the foundation for flesh tone minifigures for years to come!

Love the set!

@Golem25: do all your comments here consist of that one copy-and-paste rant that has no relevance to the LEGO sets for the Harry Potter theme? If so, I pity you.
And if I may offer a suggestion, taken from the wise words of Willam Shatner: Get a life!

Geez gollem25, we alreaddy know that you hate harry potter, but you don't have to repeat that on every harry potter article.

And by the way, I quite like this set. I think the house is better than the 2010 set. But that one has aragog

So many Stephen King readers can't appreciate a good pasta dish it seems.

@Golem25 Really? This is not a forum for expressing your dislike towards Harry Potter, it's a site about Lego. You should go to Brickset Forum, there are plenty of threads that go off topic there.

Personally, I would like to see an updated Hagrid's Hut in the second wave of HP sets. I'm pretty sure there will be one, since Hogwarts' Great Hall has several connection points :P

I really had to look twice to check that Aragog set wasn't the LoTR one. The figures even look like Samwise and Mr Frodo!

I find it ironic that Golem25 dislikes Harry Potter because the books/movies are supposedly repetitive and indistinguishable and then turns around and posts identical comments about it.

As for the set, what excellent timing, Huwbot.

I can't remember all the Hagrid's Huts to say which was the best, but they were always great. I've still got the 2010 one on the shelf in my bedroom. I really hope they make a new one with the reboot, hopefully with an upgraded Buckbeak! One problem the LEGO hut has always had was it was one circular building while in the films it's two circular buildings shoved together, hopefully they fix that this time around.

@Golem25 there are two words I want to say but this is Brickset so I wont.

Although at risk of being repetative I'll say again that I'm not into HP, but do appreciate good looking sets from ANY theme, and this set sure seems an improvement over the previous one (w/it's rubber band held together roof). @StoneWars.de thanks for the link! Looks like that will be a great little parts pack for me, and although I suffer from arachnophobia won't hesitate to place more of the little devils in my city's forrest :) As for Stephen King fans not being fans of pasta... I wish that were true. It would make my diet to prepare for vacation (and public swimming) so much easier! Oh well, I can always use my spare tire as another floatation device ;(

Got this one. Actually looking to get rid of it. My brother has the 2010 one and I much prefer it. Glad they're bringing HP back as I was not very satisfied with the old sets (though I had a lot of them) and I was in my dark ages when the 2010-11 sets came out so therefore missed out on them.

This set is the one and only set to come with the cute dark bluish gray bat.

Hagrid looks like something from Playmobil.

This Hagrid minifig is a hideous abomination. He doesn't look Lego. I'm fine with Hagrid just being a regular minifig if Lego football and basketball players are
