By in United States,

I have this set, I think I got it in a 6 pack of tiny little sets. I'm a huge fan of it, the minifigure is great and a favorite of mine to this day.

Prequel to Blade Runner.

Cute little set. It looks pretty accurate, too.

Ah, classic era town sets. And '93 was a good year for town sets, too.

1993 was a great year, but as great as it was, 1994 would prove to be even better! Little sets like this would go perfectly alongside the docks of 1994's Surf n' Sail Marina! Any time I got a set with a minifigure with those cool blue shades and scruffy beard, I always associated him as being the coolest dude in Town. I always wanted the red cap, green vest, and blue legs variant of him, but I didn't get him until 2010 with Victory Cup Racers (a glorious 1993 set). Meanwhile, this set's slightly larger land transport counterpart, Rescue Rig, came with the same guy, but with a blue cap! Ah, these were my formative LEGO years as a child! Is it any wonder I include the 1993 to 1995 era as part of the LEGO SYSTEM Golden Age in my mind and heart?

By in Germany,

I got it from one of my friends for my birthday back then. Which is fitting, kinda , since my actual birthday is tomorrow. :D
Ah, those were the days....

@Lego Lord Mayorca ... I'm so with you on the Rescue Rig. That was one of my favourite Town sets (and to be honest, it's still one of my favourite ever vehicles). And yeah, the driver with the cool shades and whiskers was the coolest Lego person in town, bar none.

By in Turkey,

I think I can build one with my spare parts, but I have more than enough water crafts as it is.

By in United Kingdom,

My folks brought me this one back from a holiday in Denmark in either '93 or '94 marking about the one third point of my dark age (which was '84 to '14 or thereabouts).

By in Canada,

this set featured one of my favourite minifigures of the era - I absolutely loved the face on this guy, because it was one of the most elaborate designs of the time in a town theme.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Johnny Thunder. I watched technic-beams glitter in the dark near the 79007 Black Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like trans clear 1x1 round plates in thick pile carpet.

Could you imagine if this set's number was 2049?

^Someone would buy it, then complain that it resembled NOTHING in the movie...

Simple little set, but it sticks out in my memory due to the minifig head being different (like @Kheldar said) from the majority of minifigs I had at the time and the printed tile on the front of the boat. Nothing too groundbreaking, but I liked it enough as a kid.

By in United States,

So is it a Harrison Ford or a Ryan Gosling minifigure?
