Today's random set is 5510 Off-Road 4 x 4, released in 1986. It's one of 3 Model Team sets produced that year. It contains 285 pieces.
It's owned by 1601 Brickset members. If you want to add it to your collection you might find it for sale at BrickLink or eBay.

I -just- sold this kit. Neat set, a little hard to part with. These Model Team sets were so cool back in the day, and they hold up really well even now.
I so loved this cute little Jeep...so many cool Model Team sets. Glad they are kind of carrying these on with Creater Expert vehicles.
Model Team! Here's hoping for more Technic/System sets like Mack Anthem in the future.
I LOVE the Model Team Theme.
This was given to me for Christmas and my Dad, Grandad and Uncle spent a few hours building this for me which I promptly pulled it apart, I love this set the very first I remember getting.
I’ve always wanted this set! I love Model Team so much!!
I had so much fun with this set. I used to modify it or build it in different colors. I would also usually put a Technic fig in the driver's seat.
I rebuilt it a while back and was struck by how many pieces the instructions had you add per step. If this set were released today, the instructions would be at least five times as thick.
Model team :D
Or if you were in the UK, released in 1990!
Really love this set! Just recently got done piecing it back together. It really does hold up extremely well next to the Creator Expert vehicles on display.
Model Team is just great! I own quite a few of them and they are all fun to build and look (reasonably) good basically. As @TheOtherMike said the instructions are rather challenging compared to today's. Quite easy to 'forget' the small 1x1 plate or 1x2 brick among the 20 or so other bricks you add per step...
Nothing comes close to the original Model Team series. Creator Expert is detailed but has almost no play value due to lack of steering. 5510 has a lovely Jeep design with working seetring wheel and some nice accessories. Released in 1990 in Hungary. I built it several times in my childhood from the available pieces and used the spare tyre to steer the model. I also MOD it several times to achieve the design of the off-road from Terence Hill's Renegade with retractable windshield. As an adult I purchased this masterpiece in MIB condition and will - never - sell.
One of my favorite childhood sets. I think it was called Jungle Cat over here.
I liked the Fabuland shovel.
