Still got it, still works. This set brought many of my early creations to life, back when my childhood Technic collection consisted of 8034, 8842, 8854 & 8837. Price tag on the box says £14.99 from Toys R Us. Great memories!

I used this set's successor, 8735 to bring 8448 Super Street Sensation to life. Also still works. 6 AA's... but I runs fine on rechargeables if I remember.

I wanted this motor so bad but it was hard to buy in Poland back then and it was too expensive for my parents. Eventually I took a motor from some other plastic toy and I managed to wrap it in brick build box so I could finally run my little technic builds. I was so happy that I could build that with Lego bricks and some random motor!
