Ah, yes. I had this one as a kid (it was already quite old then). I had a lot of fun racing it against pullback cars and hot wheels cars.

These were fun sets, if not very technically intricate. Not only was the slammer function really cool and effective, but this wave and the previous wave were modular so the fronts and backs could be mixed and matched.

My grandparents had this set, and I would always play with it when we went over to visit them. It's pretty cheap on the aftermarket, so maybe I'll pick it up for nostalgia's sake.

Really miss small Technic sets like this. Nowadays you have to spend 25 USD and up to get anything worthwhile.
