Wow. Never even knew this existed.

By in Australia,

is it odd that in a Silver Wheel multi pack, there are 2 yellow wheels and what appear to be several white ones?

Wow. Those wheels scream "turn of the century LEGO Technic" to me. All the faux chrome and hyper-stylized rims were unique to that era. Aside from Throwbots, Roboriders, and eventually, BIONICLE, this was a Technic Dark Age for me, so it is interesting to look at pictures of parts like this and wonder what it would be like to see them in person.

The tires on the larger rims looked fantastic. I wish I had more of them.

You go, Huwbot--now -that's- how you do random! This brings me back the days of Left and Right Points Manual and the Clickets we got a few weeks ago...

Because “Silver Wheels Oh And Also These Two Yellow Ones I Guess Multi Pack” just wouldn’t be quite as catchy

"Hey kids, wanna buy some wheels?"

Looks like some only have two of each type of wheel? Now how could you make a car that looks halfway decent?

@Your future president, that's the best part! You get to buy two sets for the bargain basement price of just over 1.00/piece! Either that or build a dragster w/larger rear wheels and forward rake...

In my opinion, this is the best set design ever produced.

It would be nice to have some of those wheels though.

LEGO should put a greater variety of wheels in their sets as it does with Speed Champions.

I miss chrome. Also I'm worried the drum-laquered silver is being phased out, but it was used on the 007 Aston Martin's bumpers. The new "pearl" metallic colors feel cheap and fake. Also I miss the proper chrome gold coins.
