By in United States,

I don’t really get this set. Are they supposed to be hockey players? They look like Bionicle meets The Hobbit on Ice.

Aww that's sweet, Mata Nui has a hockey league for Bioncles with leprosy

By in Australia,

^ I know both of those were said in jest, but now I really wanna see a Bionicle Hockey League.

At first glance, I thought the figure on the right was Tweety Bird. Time for an eye exam.

By in Netherlands,

Note the 'one of 52 Sports Sets' in the description. Because of junk like this, we get so many very 'random' sets in RSotD.

By in Turkey,

Why is it that every time I remember to check the set of the day it's something like this, and when I don't it's a classic like 8660.

By in Italy,

Can anyone tell me, what it is supposed to be? I see two "something" with heads and a puck.

By in France,

What a strange... Thing.

By in Austria,

Sets like this one lead to a decline in sales. Dark ages of TLC.

By in United Kingdom,

It looks bizarre, but in terms of playability, this set was great for the price.

Weirdly, I have this one somewhere. You bop em on the head and they squeeze the puck out from betwixt their thighs. You know, like real hockey players.

I think everyone here is overthinking this polybag a bit too much.

So there were some spare parts left around headquarters that day huh?

The comment threads for the bad sets are better than for the good ones.

@MCLegoboy ... we are but slaves to Huwbot's whim.

@Zordboy we kinda already got that with Kohlii, though I suppose it's more like lacrosse.

I do feel like these would make okay training dummies for a Matoran display.

@Skoorbias: Yes, it's a pretty mediocre polybag, but the first comment being so unnecessarily hostile made me giggle.

This is definitely a pretty bad set. The only consolation would have been if I got it the way it was sold--free of charge. All it looks like is a bunch of Bionicle masks and Technic beams slapped together--oh, and a hockey puck to make it a "hockey" set.

@cody6268 - Not even masks; their 'heads' are Bionicle shoulder armour pieces. I guess someone decided that they looked enough like hockey player masks and went "well, why not?"

You know, though, I never thought of this before. Back in the day, I just accepted the set's existence without questioning it. They do look kinda like they could be training dummies of some kind or another... I guess?
