By in Australia,

They don't make sets like this anymore.

By in Australia,

Cute little firefighting jeep. Simple, but functional and lovely.

I think this is one of the first fire-themed sets we've gotten as the random set of the day.

As an aside, '94. Phew. A damn good year for Lego Town. A damn good year, I say.

Wow, it keeps on coming. Classics are the best. Not a fan of the eyebrows though.

By in Bulgaria,

I had this one as part of the #1722 value pack that bundled with an Ice Planet vehicle. I was super into Ice Planet as a kid so that was the reason I bought it but the Fire Truck was a fun little set too. Much better build than the Town Jr junk that followed later in the decade.

Tools in the rear, long-distance radio antenna, floodlights, an (emulated) winch in the front--this is one truck that means business in brush firefighting! And actually looks somewhat like a Jeep as well.

Man I loved little cars like these. They where so fun to race around! I'm glad some bigger sets still come with little buggies kinda like this but it's a shame we don't have proper sets for 'em.

By in Spain,

I really like this one! better than 6511 because the mudguards are like the nowadays mudguards. I like it so much that I have just made one with spare parts
