By in Venezuela,

Now this is threatening. Imagine being a guard, peacefully doing your rounds outside the castle gates, and then you notice THIS heading you way. Kingdom-wide terror.

Cool shield dude.

By in Turkey,

The set looks good but I think it would have been better if it had two more soldiers to back Vladek up.

Huwbot definitely seems to be a fan of Knights Kingdom, but he has pretty good taste generally.

By in Finland,

I just disassembled Vladek's fortress yesterday. :)

BTW, I love the golden dragon head at the front!

The sword is horrible.

This might be more effective if there were a horse or two pulling the siege engine, or if there were a contingent of soldiers pushing it. Or maybe it's not needed, just roll it down the hill, all castles are built in the bottoms of the valleys, right? Otherwise it's a nice design, incorporating a ram and a boarding catwalk into the same contraption.

KKII has the distinction of being the first Castle theme available upon my return from the dark ages, so I was excited to get all of the sets (too bad the designs don't stand up to Classic Castle of old, but that's another post...). It also has the distinction of being one of the first themes to utilize the new "stone gray" colors that signified the retirement of the classic light and dark gray colors, which probably didn't win over too many AFOL fans at the time...

Ah, another familiar set! I had this one from the two-pack with 8799, which turned a potentially less interesting set into a fun little scene. However child-me wasn't a fan of the siege engine's rather flimsy design, it didn't hold up very well against rougher play.

Still, it had a nice design, and an effective colour scheme.

I don't know. I didn't like it when it was sold. It was just too clunky. The original 6061 siege tower I still like best as it looked like the real thing as I would imagine .

It was Knights Kingdom that got me back into LEGO. Diffferent coloured knights brings out the collector in me. Gotta catch em all!
