By in New Zealand,

What a great little set- All about steering wheel mechanism. Modern day Creator sets could sure use some steering ability demonstrated by this beauty.

Is this the third technic in a row?? Random?

Sure.

(The effects of me hacking into the RSOTD are finally being felt. More Technic! Maniacal laugh)

By in Turkey,

I'ld pass on this one and wait couple of years and get a nice little 8020.

I am now sure Huwbot has a real IA... And sense of what is good.

I’m sure we’ve had something else called a universal set before. What’s the name supposed to mean?

Nowadays they'd be called {n}-in-1 sets. This one looks like it would be a Technic 5-in-1 set.

My favorite set from when I was a child.
I bought it again not too long ago.

Bless his little AI heart, but Huwbot does tend to obsess about certain themes, and then he gets bored and moves on to the next theme.

Just like all of us!

This was my first ever Technic set and I remember it very fondly. It was a great introduction to Technic building with some cool models. I bet I still have parts kicking around somewhere.

Someone has to shout it angrily:

"HUWBOT IS RIGGED!"

Wasn't one of the last Technic sets featured a Universal one?
