By in United States,

Doesn't feel like such a random set for today
If you ask me.

Hmmmmmmm, is it truly random or is it false random because true randomness does have clusters of similar things as we've seen in the past, but then there's Huwbot's recent activities...

By in United States,

Haha!! Random indeed... There’s nothing like having your conspiracy theory proved true.

I now feel accomplished in life.

I love Huw’s sense of humor.

By in United States,

Wow. I did not see this coming (apply sacasim).

By in United States,

I honestly and unironically am liking these Clikits posts. Really sheds light on a lesser known LEGO theme. Also Star is best girl.

See, it's not just a one day thing. And to think you thought it was a joke! The date says April 2! ;)

By in Australia,

I am genuinely interested in how compatible those Clikits pieces were with other Lego pieces. Maybe some actual Clikits/Lego comparisons, once it's the 2nd?

By in United States,

What was the theme or reason for/of clikits?

By in Netherlands,

Shoot, only *now* I’ve come to realize I’ve been collecting the wrong Lego theme for the past 20 years...!

Anybody willing to trade their Clikits collection for my SW collection? Please? I’ll even throw in both UCS Falcons without hesitation, but I just *got* to get me a full collection of those Clikits, especially anything Star plus that 2004 Clikits Advent Calendar!!

And did you see all these Clikits Bonus/ Value packs? WOW, those are just *amazing*! Got to find me these, MISB! Oh man, I don’t even dare to dream about owning all the promotional Clikits items... sigh... I really have been fooling myself with Star Wars all these years... Clikits is actually soooo much cooler to collect.

Oh well, I can still dream, can I?

Watch Clikits show up in the future again by actual chance, lol.

Huwbot has indeed taken over!

I don’t care who disagrees with me. This is the BEST Lego set EVER released.

By in Singapore,

@super curry max: Many girls like accessorizing. This was one of LEGO's forays into buildable jewelry. It wasn't even their first — there was 70s Scala for example. But Clikits was their most modern craft accessory theme (besides the Friends craft sets that pop up in LEGO stores from time to time). I know a few girls around my age who genuinely liked Clikits at the time, and frankly, so did I. I think it's their best craft jewelry theme to date.

I'm still eagerly awaiting news about the rumored (and poorly named IMO) iCreate theme that's set to be announced sometime this year.

By in United Kingdom,

I've finally managed to wrestle control of the server back from huwbot! He had changed the code so that only sets from Clikits theme could be chosen as RSotD.

This will be the last Clikits one for now, until another is genuinely picked at random.

By in Switzerland,

Welcome back Huw! I’m glad you returned.

By in Canada,

Would still be interested in knowing how some clickits parts connect or how they can be integrated with the regular "system". And also from a totally different thing but related to the recent technic parts analysis, I'd like to see a duplo axle side by side with a technic axle - as well as compatibility between gears of the two systems (maybe duplo can be used when you need a very strong setup in a large moc)

V Thanks Huw.

Your first wish is my command. See my later article!

Oh, ha, I like how you played that. So that technically the Random Set of the Day WAS still picked at random... it was just a random pick from ONLY the Clikits sets. Nice twist to it xD

Seriously, though, I'm not sure I get all the hate against Clikits. I mean, sure, they're not my cup of tea either; but it seems unreasonable that to me that it's quite so despised as they seem to be. To me, they're a curious part of Lego's history, if nothing else.

By in United States,

On the note of history of parts, two that I'd like to see in the future would be regular bricks and BIONICLE masks.

While you're on a Clickit's kick (or rather, click) it might be fun to get a history on those too!
