By in Australia,

Gorgeous.

I love how they used the garage-door pieces to build a patio at the front of the house. And that cypress tree...

Lego in its most simple and perfect form.

By in Canada,

How come we really don't have "Town" sets these days? City is mostly the emergency services, and some other element that changes yearly (lately it's been exploration) plus whatever is in Great Vehicles, houses are most often in Creator, and Friends these days gets most of the businesses such as restaurants and grocery stores.

I really like this house, and especially its baseplate.

By in New Zealand,

Hey Lego, I would buy a few of these. And bring back that lady’s hairdo.

By in United States,

That detail on the car though...

Just adds to the overall appeal.

I wish I had enough money for a real vacation house, but my lego hobby doesn’t quite allow for such luxuries.

By in Spain,

Wooooooooo! A small tear is falling down in my face.
Probably the best house ever, together with 6374. I had very good time when I bought a second hand one many years ago, because I didn't get it when I was a child.
Huwbot made my day :)

By in Netherlands,

One of my childhood treasures.

By in France,

I tried many hours, with the pictures at the time, to recreate this nice house when I was a kid, with my available and spare parts. But the result was far from the beautiful original one. A very good design for year 83. Still good IMO.

By in Finland,

Just a fantastic set. It even came with some rare pieces which wasn't everyday in old Town.

Was this the first house ever built on a 32x32 size baseplate? I can't think of any others before this.

By in Malaysia,

Still on my wishlist! Gorgeous house.

By in Germany,

This was my first bigger Lego set!!! I still love it, but the white bricks are all yellow now and some bricks are missing.

By in Germany,

Yes!!! This is perfect Lego. Love it! Please bring back some of these sets in a classic edition. My money is waiting for it.

By in Poland,

Guys. Creator exists. It doesn't matter its not city. It matters we are getting comfy houses.

By in Canada,

Simply stunning.

By in United Kingdom,

Ah, this is what classic lego town was all about. An ideal and happy world!

By in Norway,

Sets like this beauty would fit right into my imaginary theme Lego Retro. They re-release true (not forgotten) classics from the late 70s to early 90s. Why not @Lego?

By in Germany,

Huwbot, you son of a gun, just like that putting a straight flush on the table..

This is just legendary.

If they'd release this as a legends set again I would put down the 80€ asking price with no hesitation.

By in Australia,

Still have this set. I loved the special base plate the most...

By in United States,

Those tree elements need to make a comeback so bad.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

That's beautiful. And very impressed with the tree. Although it's probably even more massive if it's been there since 83. The neighbours are probably wondering when they are gonna cut the darn thing down!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I wish they'd reintroduce those Cypress trees, just to overcome the absolutely silly secondary market price.

By in Turkey,

Wow, I just recently put this set together. I never had it, but I managed to pull it off by a friends help. I'm a happy camper.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Seriously I like the old town sets way more than the current city sets.

Gravatar
By in Portugal,

I wish LEGO still made sets like this.

By in Denmark,

Oh... The house of my dreams when I was a child. And still is, sort of... The Creator 6754 Family Home I even changed to a version of 6374 Holiday Home some years ago.
