Posted by Huwbot,
Today's random set is 6658 Bulldozer, released in 1986. It's one of 26 Town sets produced that year. It contains 65 pieces and 1 minifig.
It's owned by 2810 Brickset members. If you want to add it to your collection you might find it for sale at BrickLink or eBay.

Simple yet recognizable. I likey.
Awesome set! Has more detail than contemporary City loaders, but uses no specialized parts at all; well other than the loader itself.
I really want to get one of these, but I noticed there were none on Bricklink from the US. Saw a couple for $5 from Germany, but I bet the shipping would be at least triple that alone. I just bought a pocketknife from Germany, and that cost $10 to ship.
^The 2nd cheapest is 4.99 I saw for shipping.
Great Town set, one of my favourite pieces.
Those hinge roofs were the best.
One of my earliest town sets as a boy. I loved this one so much! Many of the construction sets did not get a USA release, so we had to import them from my uncle in Germany. Was this one released in the USA?
@cody6268: Eh, I think the new Construction Loader looks pretty comparable both in size and level of detail. And this model does use some other specialized parts such as the entire hinge and rear window assembly, and the grille piece at the rear end.
Great little set! We need a set like this one nowadays!
I cherish every classic set I have, and this is one of them. I love the simplicity of it. Huwbot is on a roll...
So simple, so good, so Lego. Sure this one could be on the shelves today and do the job.
Loooove this!! What a great era!
It looks like the guy's head has been sliced in half by a laser because of the hold in the paper.
How is this a bulldozer if it has no blade? Shouldn't it be rather an articulated front loader instead?
Very good set. I did not get it as child, but I bought it in Bricklink while I was buying some parts I needed. Very detailes, realistic...I like it!!
So sad that hinged roofs disappeared on vehicles, they were great.
One of my early sets as a kid, still have it
Hey, I have that too. Great little set. No bulldozer though, it's indeed an articulated front loader.
Kind of a miniature 42030 :-)
Great classic town vehicle! One of my favorites
Had this one as a kid. It's too bad I no longer have any sets from this era :(
I still have mine. Rebuilt it so many times. It did a fantastic job of dumping stuff into my 7735 train.
More of a front loader than a bulldozer, but I guess that gets lost in some translation. A great classic town set from my youth. As stated above, simple yet detailed without all the special pieces. A time when one really had to think about the model. And who doesn't like a hinged roof!
